Is this our standard for medical care in Salem now? Mad scientist Dr. Rolf and some rats? I can't see how I'm supposed to take that story seriously. This is something that you'd see in stuff from 50-60 years ago, which makes me wonder about the age of the scriptwriter.
21 hours ago21 hr Member I haven't seen this week's shows yet, but the actor playing Aaron just isn't very good.

9 hours ago9 hr Member So I guess Aaron’s gonna be on display a lot from now on… 😉😂😂Like I said in my last post, despite the acting, I like the character. He’s really sweet and nerdy but I gotta admit he was a little stupid too lol but I enjoyed the Smith Island scenes today. The four of them are still coming off like an actual group of friends.Eli joining the manhunt for Rolf is a good idea and could lead to him being used more and more effectively. Him and Rafe actually worked well together and I wouldn’t mind the two of them teaming up again. And he looked hot at the end too 😍😉😂😂I was a little surprised at Abe today though. He was the one who seemed a little off putting with Eli today rather than Lexie. Usually, it’s the other way around lol which is exactly what happened when Paulina finally showed up in those scenes. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at Lexie once again. Seriously, she really should’ve stayed dead. Even a better actress in the role wouldn’t help this storyline.Chad and Theo playing chess was kinda boring though but I am looking forward to seeing the mystery of the chess set start to unravel. As for Johnny/EJ, they should still be at odds and the fact that everything is so good between them now is a big mistake. That was one Ron story that should not have been dropped/ended.But despite the EJ and Kristen of it all and the missed opportunities, I am a little interested in seeing what’s going to happen now that EJ’s realized that Kristen had something to do with Sophia trying to kill Johnny. Hopefully, it’s not the same old revenge stuff. Edited 9 hours ago9 hr by AbcNbc247
4 hours ago4 hr Member Aaron and his bad acting aren't a problem for me. He's dorky, but likeable. He's better than Rachel Boyd because he actually seems human.Holly is the character I can't stand. It's been like this for awhile for me. I find her so selfish and the opposite of fun for everyone. I know being sued is a huge bummer but EJ said he would take care of it. Just relax Holly. Tate deserves better!

I don't think he's a good actor, but he does bring a dorky likability to the part, and maybe that's enough. I wouldn't want a recast. I agree about Holly, too. Honestly, I think part of me hates to get invested in these characters because of what's coming.
2 hours ago2 hr Member Hopefully this can tie into this thread. Deidre Hall was on The Today Show this morning. They did a great job of teasing her appearance but I was very dissatisfied with Craig Melvin. Deidre has been on Days for 50 years! So much to celebrate, so of course they focused on comas, back from the dead and WAY too much time on the soap opera slap. I felt so bad for Deidre! 50 years and she has to do a soap opera slap??? What about the great emotional stories like DJ’s death or John’s death? True emotion. The Today Show made fun of soaps and I felt bad for Deidre because Craig cut her off at times. And the Ryan Gossling stuff happened months ago yet they acted like it was new. I do feel really really bad for Deidre that NBC brought her onto The Today Show (3 million viewers) and didn’t delve into why she is an icon! That rant aside, today’s Juneteenth episode was not boring. Intriguing.
