Today was mostly about Titan.

As clunky and slow moving as this storyline gets sometimes, I do like the way that so many characters and their individual storylines are tied together through it. The more layers/dynamics, the better lol. Kate was really back in her element today too, both with Gabi, and then with Philip and Xander. I liked the way she took control, and, from a character perspective, I find the position that she and Xander are in pretty interesting as well; at odds with each other about the lawsuit but both feeling the same way about confessing to the people that they love. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when the truth finally comes out. Kate asking Ari to basically continue to be an unwitting spy at Dimera could lead to something interesting happening as well. I think we just need to see her actually working there.

As unnecessary as Destiny was, I am starting to find the mystery of her death kind of interesting. It's nice seeing Brady in PI mode. And bringing Liam into this mystery could be the shot in the arm that this all needs. I wouldn't mind Ari becoming involved in this either, especially if she ends up being the one who finds him and brings him back to Salem, which would lead to her finding out about Gabi paying him off. And, we got confirmation that Liam is Ivy's son!

As for the Dimeras... Skip

The big standout for me was also the explicit tie between Liam and the 80s Selejkos! Until now, it's just kind of been shorthand for "poor family with gang ties." But now we know that he is Ivy's son.

I don't get why Xander and Kate can't just... drop the lawsuit. Why do they have to admit they set Johnny up? I know it's part of Xander's therapy or whatever, but it feels silly that they "have to" say they planned this. Just say you don't feel it's worth the fight and don't want to harm Johnny, the end.

I am not even sure what Xander and Kate are suing for? The book was never released and there aren't any profits to go after. No one except a few people in Salem even read it. They could easily come to an agreement with Bonnie/Dimera and make sure the book is never released. All the handwringing over something that is so small stakes and relatively easy to fix is silly.

Honestly, Xander should get a new therapist. Kate's not wrong lol.

The Liam tie to Ivy was said so casually by Sarah. I thought Liam mentioned his parents help him watch his son and he lived with them until recently? Has Ivy been in Salem this whole time lol?
