I miss the old Brooke, too....the girl from the Valley who clawed her way up to make something of herself, who could plot and plan, make bad sexual decisions because of her daddy complex. I'm so tired of her throwing everyone else under the bus to try to be with Ridge, a man who has dumped her and treated her like trash time and time again. (Just like Taylor does!)

She needs to have an affair with a man 20 years younger and take over Forrester again!

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like Ridge has sort of become an albatross around the neck of so many characters. If Ridge suddenly died, Brooke AND Taylor would finally be free!

This is not an unpopular opinion with me at least. I feel the same way. Ridge almost feel superfluous now, and I think the show would improve without him.

I don't think Brad Bell would ever make a story move that big in general. He's the king of recycling the same story over and over.

And the sad thing is that the fire is STILL there in Brooke and KKL still got it but she's too under Ridge's thumb. I would like to think the incoming feud with Logan will bring her back.
