Yeah. Anyone familiar with KS knows she's always had stories to excuse other well-known troubles. Going back decades. It's not a trade secret. And as you mentioned her latest drama always sounded like paranoid delusion to me, and her substance issues are AFAIK not new.

I hope she finally gets real, lasting help, and if she ever does and sticks to it I'd welcome her back to the show. Just as I would've loved to do for Tyler Christopher. But as for GH it's time to write Maxie out, and if necessary down the line recast. I think GH has been holding Kirsten up for years, possibly out of fear of what might happen to her without the job, and in the end I'm not sure how good it has been for her.

The only silver lining is she can no longer spin up some story this time about bad acne cream or whatever else.

I think you're 100% spot on. The show is possibly keeping her on as a lifeline and health insurance. I'd hate for her to spiral further and go the way of Tyler.

And what's wild is that when Frank Valentini arrived Kirsten had already been gone on one of her earliest extended breaks for either a year or close to it. Jen Lilley was there (and getting heat from both fans and Kirsten herself online) doing the job and doing a decent one IMO. Allegedly he asked people then if he should just recast. But he stuck it out and has been very, very loyal to Kirsten. He's seen a lot of GH stars through serious health or personal troubles and I do respect that. But in the end (even before she seemingly recouped well in 2024 for too short a period) I haven't felt it was the right thing to do for KS for a long time. But none of us are on the inside or know the real deal, so who knows.

Well..it's sound like that was a last ditch effort and it wasn't exactly invited by BB and his wife. It sounds like he and his wife have a good handle on Harper at least, so that's good. I can't imagine how it feels for a 12 year old because they are old enough to know something's wrong.

I also think she followed Brandon and his new wife to Tennessee. I had wanted to believe they were all being mature adults and co-parenting. But obviously, there was more to the situation. Hopefully, the courts can intervene and force her into treatment.

If there are addiction issues, and BB’s legal filings allude to them, it could end up the best for her no longer being able to hide. Doesn’t mean she deserves no privacy, because she does. But this being so public might help break down her own delusions to herself about these issues and covering. Secrets are terrible when dealing with addiction. There is no hiding this.

The length of time for housing instability was kind of shocking.

My goodness….i stumbled upon these boards just to hear this current stuff Kirsten is dealing with….😢😢

Having liked her since Disney/Zenon I really hope she gets the help she gets, but I really hate that her daughter is in the middle of all this. I agree it’s crazy she’s still be on the show as along as she has dealing with all this.

this show really seems to deal with the most issues with actors mental health.
