Yeah, I mean, it's POSSIBLE she's Nicole. It's also technically possible she's Chad's mother Madeline, back from the dead, or Sandy Horton de-SORASed, or Victoria aged up.

I just don't see what hints we have to suggest that this 34-year-old brunette is playing Nicole Walker.

that's what these soaps are doing. Y&R is riddled with YOUNG recasts. It's insane. The writing is on the wall. lol

I disagree. There is casting someone younger as a recast on a soap and there is casting Nicole as someone 15 years younger on Days. Arianne Zucker sued Days over mistreatment, discrimination, retaliation and sexual harassment. Even if all parties have settled, casting someone younger like that for Nicole essentially proves her point. That would be an awful look for the show and is guaranteed to fail. To me it's 2 different issues. Besides, in general, Days doesn't usually go younger with their recasts.

Yeah, I am not sure why this idea is even being entertained. It makes no sense from a logical, creative, or legal standpoint. Holly is 20 years old. Why would you need Nicole to be younger?

You don't. I mean, there are plenty of age-appropriate actors who could and would portray Nicole Walker. Although, I don't see them returning the role anytime soon. It's more so viewers trying to be casting agents with ridiculous ideas.

they don't care, fam. They went younger for Kristen, younger with EJ, younger Chad (Conner Floyd is 33, lol) and subsequently Billy Flynn is younger than Daniel Goddard. These shows don't care. It's insane. Beyond the Gates CLEARLY has Karla Mosley playing a character that's supposed to be OLDER than 44 based on the casting of her CHILDREN. lol

There's only a 3 year age difference between the EJs.

I have already stated why I don't think it will happen and won't repeat myself. I still don't agree with your reasoning and don't see the relevancy of bringing up other soaps. How Beyond the Gates cast their actors has absolutely nothing to do with how Days cast theirs.

Let's just accept that the idea of recasting Nicole with SM was a poster's preferred (bad) fancasting and move on.
