I am behind a few episodes, but I want to say this quick pivot with Chase was a huge mistake if they don’t go back to it. He was fully under Willow’s spell and they were building to something there. Shame to just drop it.

I could see them try to keep Brennen and pair him with Nina, to eat up airtime and budget. This show never gets rid of dead weight until a decade or so pass its expiration date. With Ava, I don't know what they could do with her that wouldn't be repeating stories she's had before. It is a testament to Maura West's talent that she took a nothing character like Ava and turned her into a 13 year run. I'd expect to keep seeing Nina and Ava as long as the actresses don't turn too expensive.

Sidwell is a bad guy, right? Then why would he trust the police to take care of charging Sonny? A mobster like that would take out Sonny in a minute.

The fact that Jason is now going to spy jail for Sonny’s damn grandson when he had the damn chance to take this guy out himself and just didn’t for…reasons, is absolutely stupid. I’m just going to pretend he’s just out of practice cause he’s been being a Dad and counting coffee pallets for like 2 years.

Not even back 5 minutes and already trying to put him in the same scenes as Tracy...who was enjoying having to myself again and with other characters.

And wasn't Heather and the hip his idea as well? I don't think you are projecting at all. It explains a lot since Korte is known for more emotional beats and sometimes flawed history points.

I continue to hope that once the Sidwell storyline is over, it's Ava that steps into the power vacuum because it is something she would do and how they currently have Ava positioned on the canvas, it would organically make sense.

Nina needs to break down already.

Britt is an OBGYN so I really wonder what kind of exam she could use as an excuse...

I don't get how she's just at the office the next day. Shouldn't she still run? She was caught trying to run away with the meds and abandon the stupid project. Marco was killed for it.

So Ric is Sonnys new consiglieri but he doesn't have the muscle. With Jason leaning out, if they wanted to make Sonny dark again they could have him groom a new young character to take his place.

@carolineg @Taoboi Ric makes me tolerate Sonny. I did laugh at Carly’s face though when Ric walked in. Like it’s actually hilarious that Sonny is just like well Ric’s changed since she chained you up, be cool😂
