I'm intrigued to see if there will be any new breakdown and script writers that will be joining the show for S2. I ask because I recall that Ron C, Chris Dunn, and Lynn Martin are all leaving the writing staff (as announced back in July 2025).

I also wonder what the arcs for season 2 will be other than Anita's cancer story and am curious about how the co-head-writer thing between MVJ and Tracy T works... if they split it 50/50 or if MVJ comes up with the ideas and Tracy T has to implement them, etc.

Well it seems like Michael Montgomery has stepped it up, but curious as well.

I mean...have we made it through all of MVJ's story bible yet?

We haven't talked about this in a long time, but revisiting Kat's parentage... I wonder if during this genetic testing we'll find out something very interesting... which is why I think Nicole will have it over Dani, since they already set up Kat being against getting tested.

I thought the same exact thing- is this testing going to reveal that Kat and Eva were switched at birth? Especially with the way Kat acted today.

Dani was wrong for telling Bill about Anita before she told their daughters, but that's par for the course with Dani and her need to stay connected to Bill. Writing wise I think the writers wanted to divide how the grandchildren found out so it wasn't so predictable and to avoid repetitive dialogue.

While Kat and Eva can still have a rivalry this would be a perfect opportunity for them to have a frenemy moment where Eva convinced Kat to get tested.

So it was mentioned that we start seeing S2 episodes tomorrow?

Do you think there will be any noticeable writing difference?

Anyone know why the Beyond the Gates channel was removed from Pluto TV? The continuous feed of the show has ended. It was always good to catch up on episodes you missed on that channel.

-- Today's show was very well done from acting to writing to direction.

-- Not surprised at all about Kat's refusal to get tested. She's brash and impulsive -- all the time -- and sometimes her decisions defy logic. She claims she wants to "live in sunshine," but I don't know how ignoring the elephant in the room leads to sunshine.

-- Dani really disappointed me by going to Bill first. She's shown growth, but this is two steps back. It may seem minor in that she planned to tell her daughters minutes later, but that visit to Bill said a lot about her head space, none of it good.

-- I see people are still talking about Kat's and Eva's parentage, and I hope to God they don't go there. I do not want that story.

I would hope that MVJ had several years worth of story in the planning stages. Obviously some things would be changed along the way once they see onscreen what is developing.

Have to agree-those switched at birth/paternity stories have been done to death. It would be nice if they could develop stories/characters w/o going for those sort of plot twists.

Though the subject matter in today's episode was heavy, it was a almost perfectly executed episode. It's no secret how much I love BTG, but episode 200 hit all the notes.

It was previously mentioned about the establishing shots of the different mansions in Fairmont Crest but I hope we have more of that to clearly differentiate between them.

MVJ is a goddess and deserves all the accolades. If BTG isn't your cup of tea, great, but it's definitely mine. Here's to an amazing season 2 and 2026!!!

Ignorance is bliss.

Noticed that Kat was dressed more adult for these scenes. Had she arrived in one of her usual micro miniskirt/cutesy hat and purse outfits it would have been hard to take her seriously.

Weirdly, yesterday's show is not on Paramount yet.

It is! I randomly found it... you have to scroll to the very bottom to episode 1... it's the first episode listed. Now that it's episode 200, I guess it went back to the bottom by episode 001... didn't quite make sense to me logically, but it's there! :)

That's crazy as hell. I hope they fix that today.

I assumed there was no episode yesterday, because when I checked late last night I saw 199 as last on the list. I will have to check later. Thanks! It helps having this place to keep me informed.
