I know I have complained in the past about Sonny's lack of purpose. I understand he is not anyone's favorite here, but if GH continues to pay Mo and use him 4 days a week use him effectively. Sonny wanders around town having random scenes with different characters, but he has no story. He hasn't had a story in well over a year. I don't have any qualms about decreasing Sonny's airtime and having him fade into a more supporting role. That's not what the show is doing. He is still on all the time doing nothing. I have no idea why GH is wasting so much time with Sonny and the silly DA. No one cares about this possible romance.

Not a soul! I do in fact have another bad idea for Sonny though, while we all wait on Brenda. But I'll keep it off the thread for now unless people want to ask me one to one.

As far as the DA though, do it or don't GH. I don't need a one year build up for a romance that isn't important. We spent months on Sonny courting or semi dating bigot Natalia and now we have this. Throw him back with Alexis if this is all you can think for Sonny. She's been single forever too.

I mean half their scenes taint the Alexis/Sonny romance dynamic, but it's the best option currently unless they put Nina/Sonny back together.

But before Alexis tried to aim the Drew's Shooter theory as Michael, her and Sonny have really been getting along and co-parenting, giving off a nice spark. Ah, that's another option I've mentioned as well re: Nina. And Nina/Sonny is very much like Jason/Liz...they got teased enough and get close and then the person vanishes, replaced by some unnecessary character. Sorry, Britt. lol. It just shows how easy it is to write for Sonny with other characters on canvas really.

I agree. Just let them have that later in life secret/chill romp we've talked about before for a while. Gives them something to do before you regroup with both. It can be played light and ease Sonny into accepting his life/age has changed.

They clearly are struggling re: Sonny. Someone doesn't want him and Carly back together which has always been their safe lever (probably both actors at this point, thank God), someone else obviously doesn't want Nina (probably Korte!) and Frank doesn't want to do the obvious fix (Brenda).

It was not that serious. The scenes had some friction but he was chill. It was nowhere near some of the kind of venom they have reserved for each other 20+ years ago. Sonny frankly can't work up much rage for almost anyone anymore.

They won't be pairing Nina with anyone but dayplayers at this rate. The Drew door PM opened is long since closed, unless they do some sort of Herculean redemption job on his character which I don't really want or need. I don't need her with anyone (and would write her out within a year or two and give her a happy ending at this point), but I would guffaw and cheer if she and Michael had a ONS. Sean Kanan's A.J. wouldn't be a terrible idea as a pipe dream but I'd sooner see him with Carly.

Yeah, now that I think about it. You are right. They would probably get a follow-up scene where Sonny apologizes after Willow is exposed. But eventually on this show might be next February Sweeps.

I like Nina alone right now as well. I just wish she was factored in more (and I know why she's not) because several things are going on that do affect her and it has felt like an afterthought for too long for me. And she's definitely better than the ADA.

Smh. Them agendas strike again. Almost sad to read options for Sonny, but no one will, can, and won't do them.
