for as much as I harp about Morrow, I never once thought he personally had that ego about him that he was stuck playing a certain age even if the writing for Nick often reflects that.

JM can't be an overgrown frat boy forever.

I like seeing Nick at the Abbott estate; it feels right mixing it up with Jack and Kyle, and he finally acknowledged Harrison! Joshua Morrow is kicking ass.

The fact is, that Jack and Nick has a lot of history to drawn on, and it should be reflected in the storyline.

Here We Go again! Joshua Morrow with his Angry acting! I LOVE it cause it’s the only time he’s actually trying to act. I don’t know if its embarrassing or hilarious but hey. It is what it is with This Guy and I just ride with it.

But to the character itself: bro! Nick is in his maxium Overdrive savior Mode! He‘s the Only One That Can stop Matt? He’s the Only One who Can Save Newman enterprises? (Why?).. That dude is in pain with painkillers but is in Like every Location this soap has driving/running around. Nick must have some really good painkillers. Next time I’m Done with a surgery I will Hit Nick up for some of his goodies LOL

Is Sally’s only purpose in the show to nag at her boyfriends? It’s not often I take the straight man’s side in (any) type of relationship conflict but Sally is so friggin insufferable that she has me taking Billy’s side and I don’t even like him

What a mess this all is.

Have we been on the same day for the past couple weeks?

How slow moving is this AI program? 😂

How did Nick get Matt into the trunk? Don't all car trunks have escape pulls? 😂

Why doesn't Nick have a cast on his leg? Why do these pain pills not work on him And how is he addicted to them in one day? 😂

I mean I watched Michael Fairmans interview with Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow from a few days ago and he does kind of make it seem like the show isn’t going in that direction of Nick being an addict but we’ll see I guess. It does seem like it would be an unnecessary layer to add on top of this already messy storyline. Can we atleast address how Matt Clark is still alive after all this time first?

Ask DAYS when they brought back Jay Kenneth Johnson. 🤣

I think OLTL also had Max get plastic surgery when he was recast, then the original actor came back with no explanation. I guess if fans can accept characters suddenly changing appearances with recasts, it's not that big a leap to shrug off actors returning after chracters supposedly had plastic surgery.

The whole story is the usual Y&R mess, crafted to fill actor guarantees and perceived popularity.

For the story to have any kind of real drama and resonance, the scale and budget would have to be much grander.

But Josh continues to churn out these stories with limited characters and sets.

Even the dreaded business stories might be more watchable if we had offices and extra staff.

Y&R is just bad. I love the costume designer and the sets are not terrible, but the stories are just not good and they haven't been for YEARS at this point. From the Ashland Locke debacle, to the Aristole Dumas nonsense, bringing back Cameron and now Matt, it's just more drivel. The business stories swapping CEO's like changing a pair of socks is just more crap. And I know, why am I still watching??? I honestly don't know 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

We can only hope the demos/ratings plummet. That's the only way a writing change will happen. Thankfully, having Sally McDonald as co-executive producer is a positive, but that's about it.

This Matt Clark is so painful to watch. What is the point of all this? They're all taking turns to trash him and I just can't connect to any of it. Sharon Case's acting choices aren't helping. Morrow has been more impressive. This is so overwrought. Just turn Matt over to the cops and skip the "trial" at the ranch, with "Judge" Victor sitting in his favorite chair.

Direction-wise, the 'reading' of Matt Clark was done exceptionally well. And some impressive performances by Lucas Adams, Tamara Braun, Roger Howarth, and Joshua Morrow. Adams is a solid Noah recast and I hope he does not fall by the wayside by this time next year. Noah should be on the canvas.

That’s because Sharon is looking at the pile of sh*t of a script in front of her and struggling to keep a serious face throughout it all. Can’t say I blame her!

You're right. It's hard to blame any actor for checking out of this mess.
