Nick was giving those vibes too. The way he was looking at Sharon was like.. “oh no she’s about to lose her sh*t again what do I do”. I mean jeez JM you couldn’t have atleast tried to show some emotion? I felt like JM was under acting in those scenes and SC was over acting a bit. The crying was enough. We didn’t need all the extra theatrics. SC is a fabulous actress but it wasn’t her best work. Then again, with this writing.. I can imagine it’s hard to take it seriously at times.

I found zero issues with Joshua Morrow today; if anything, Sharon Case was distracting and overdoing it with her acting. She is who I found a complete issue with. Also does not help her face was blown up while crying. Whew.

JM didn’t even shed a single tear. He looked bored to bits and almost on the verge of wanting to burst out laughing. He’s always relied on his female scene partner to do the heavy lifting though so I’m not surprised one bit.

Sharon was doing entirely too much. Won’t deny that.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Morrow has proven himself many times as an actor with the "heavy lifting".

“Many times”? That’s… generous. Cassie’s death was one of the very few times I saw him actually act.

Anywho,

Thoughts on today’s CDN Y&R Episode

Spoiler

I guess Phyllis just really loves to torment Christine because I don’t see the point in these scenes. She has no interest in Danny, and from what I hear she’s going to try and disrupt their wedding. I just would like to know why? Doesn’t Phyllis have enough to worry about at the moment with Cane?

Noah looks absolutely insane in that hospital bed and the opening scene with them sitting at his bedside made me laugh because I could just tell SC and JM were wanting to burst out laughing. So now we know there was foul play, I just wonder who would have it out for innocent little Noah?

Mariah and Tessa are a snooze and still no real explanation for Mariah’s bizarre behaviour. I just don’t care anymore. They haven’t bothered to play any of the beats for this storyline and it’s quite frankly lost my interest completely.

That nurse did not give a single fück about Sharon in that moment. She walked in, delivered news, and went off to do more important things, I guess. 🤣

i rewound that scene because that under-5 playing the nurse was so laughably bad. 😂

-- I have no problem with the way Josh Morrow played those hospital scenes. He seemed worried and concerned, but in control. I think Sharon Case really went to extremes, and her performance didn't work.

-- Why have Sharon say that she told Allie to wait to see Noah until they know more? That makes NO sense. No partner or spouse would listen to that. They could have just killed her off in the car accident.

Sharon Case looks over-surgeried and over-injected plus her voice has changed.

It reminds me of what Jackie Zeman (RIP) used to do at GH after getting too much work done. She started leaning on over-enunciating and doing kind of a cutesy voice and big eyes to push through in the last 15+ years.

I wonder if Case had some surgery (cosmetic or otherwise) or had some health issues when these scenes were filmed.

In the latest BTS video on the Y&R YouTube channel around the upcoming Daytime Emmy’s, she looks less puffy and sounds more normal.

I’m not even sure if it’s surgery or just too much filler or Botox that hasn’t settled. I saw a clip in the preview for the week of her doing some of the worst acting she’s ever done and she was soooo puffy. It was wild. She’s a beautiful woman who honestly would still look great aging gracefully.

I was really only exposed to post surgery JZ and I’d have to look up 90’s clips to see what the hype was about for her as an actress. When I’d read about the storylines from the 90’s, I could never imagine the way she played Bobbie in the 2000’s ever being in those stories or pulling them off.

Jackie was having work done for longer than that lol, but it didn't get real crazy IMO til the 2000s. She could still deliver reasonably til the late '00s, but she was rarely on by that point. I will say I think that when she had real scenes with TG she could still bring it, even in his last days. I remember her getting very real in some of their final scenes.

I hope Sharon is doing well health-wise as I was a bit startled seeing her in the video. It looks less like bad plastic surgery than I'd expected.

And wow I didn't recognize her voice either, although that may be down to terrible audio.

I didn’t get into soaps until the 2000’s so I unfortunately got to see her and LC really destroy their faces after every break from The show. It was actually sad.
