Today's episode has confirmed what I always thought.  Eva is not Ted's child.

She sure isn't. The fact that he foolishly never bothered to get his own paternity test furthers this belief

I rolled my eyes when Ted told Eva she's a part of the family now and he wants er to be more involved with everyone and everything.

Like, what?

Ted, you ignorant fool, this is not your choice. YOU don't get to decide how involved Eva gets with "the family." I swear this man fell off the turnip truck.

And don't get me started about Ted spending no time with his other children, Kat and Martin.

I'll be the first one to say I am very proud of Tyler Perry. His achievements are beyond awesome and I hope continues to prosper, but I will never tell the lie that a lot of this product is not basic. Tyler Perry is very smart. He knows his audience doesn't expect much and it totally works for him.

On that note Beyond The Gates writer and production teams needs to stay f'king far away from anything Tyler Perry related.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Yes. The writers and production teams should definitely steer clear of ALL things Tyler Perry related. 😁

Ohhh - Joey hit a nerve with Hayley, and I love it. He got to her, which is exactly what he wanted to do.

Have they used the little cafe set before? I'm guessing it was used by Dani/Andre in the airport before Las Vegas, but did they just repurpose it today for the first time?  I hope they keep it as a little cafe, they NEED something more than OGs and Uptown for run-ins/gatherings.

Previews look good... I can't wait to see who Vernon is talking to. I don't think he's having an affair at all, but definitely curious who it is.

Okay bud.

Crazy that he is still moving like this in here after crashing out repeatedly for not getting his fanfic respected for almost two years. You're not gonna work there, bro. Move on.

Hehe Hayley and these near-misses (and when she changes her tone in scenes with people) is straight out of 90s DAYS. I get a giggle.

Get your screen time, Laura!!! And I love that this fundraiser is about mental health. But about Barbara? Yeeeah Laura is right. If they put her name on it...Silk Press Sheila is just going to want to get her hands on it. OR is that the point? Are we setting up SPS's comeuppance? FINALLY??

Well, Anita, if you don't want to sweep Barbara back under the rug, then you know SPS will be all up in this.

Well, you dropped the ball on several things, Ted so...image.jpeg

I will always be here for Chels vs Tomas just like I'm here for Chels vs Hayley. She shows neither NO MERCY.

Chelsea roasting Tomas does get me every time. RhonniRose is still green but she's in rare form when she goes in on him (and again, I think she has good screwball comic timing that suits her better than dead serious story).

Hmmmm interesting this episode and yesterday talking about SPS's past with Ted from a not-kooky place.

Hmmm...yeah @Rmodelboy it does feel kinda anvil-y with Ted and Eva.

Well you better come through C plot! Though I would have like to see the scene with Chels and Madison's mother.

And...will finish later.

Anita is only mentioning Barbara to ease her guilt over the horrible way she treated her, and that she best listen to someone that is objective (Laura) and keep Barbara's name out of it.

Kat needs to back off in terms of Tomas and his issue... his body, his choice.

Joey/Hayley was a brief scene.. but I'm intrigued to see a longer scene between the two of them.

SPS/Jan had a nice friendship scene... but Jan, you have your work cut out for you in regards to SPS.

Next week's teaser looks interesting to me with a lot of Vanessa/Joey, and surprised to see the Derek story moving forward quicker than I thought it would.

-- Anita doesn't need to attach Barbara's name to everything as a reminder she thinks of her. If anything, it comes off as performative.

-- So Madison went to Nicole to discuss Chelsea? Uh ... Isn't this hypocrisy in action? Madison has every right to be angry about Chelsea contacting her mother, but doing the same thing behind Chelsea's back is a choice.

-- Hilarious to watch Bill purchase a beachfront property in St. Bart's in about 15 minutes. Those Internet pics must have been fire.

-- The broken penis stuff doesn't land at all because the guy with the busted dick can't act. At all.

-- Ted has turned into a joke. Now he's hugging Leslie in the open at his place of work? What an idiot.

-- Don't know why Eva is so surprised and upset that Isaiah didn't tell her he's a Hawthorne. Did she go into detail about what a criminal loon her mother is? He owed her none of that when they met.

-- The previews look really good.
