Y&R: September 2025 Discussion Thread 

Wishing Y&R luck this month; I know Crimson Lights, the GCAC, Society, and Chancellor Park will be riveted with business talks, revolving doors of employee changes, and all of that juicy stuff.

In the same way people make the cast lists, it would be quite interesting if someone made monthly lists of the sets used on each soap, just to see how poorly Y&R really is doing. They might even lose to half-hour B&B.

90% of the show this summer was hot garbage.

Y&R is definitely doing better than it did when they came out of the COVID hiatus, that is for sure. But their lack of an overnight set crew does not help their cause.

You mean, the multiple weeks of reactions to the Abbott remodel was not enough?

@JAS0N47 has always made monthly lists of sets used on DAYS.  I don't know if the other soaps have done that.

Billy got a new set that actually was attractive. We've not seen it in months.

Something very odd about the budget decisions for this show.

As for the Mariah 'storyline' ,just repeated scenes of Mariah being weepy and shutting everyone out and then...nothing.

They were at Billy's last week when Cane stopped by and Sally did that fashion show for Billy.

I could not have said it better.  Crimson Lights, GCAC, and Society playing the same corny background music while two characters are sitting at a table drinking coffee or cocktails.  I don't know how Crimson Lights remains open.  It's always empty.  It's a complete snoozefest.
