Always meet your heroes.. if you get that lucky. The stories of my childhood fan letters to Tristan are true and well known, and he always took them with a big Australian size grain of salt (even when those letters were taped to the door of my dressing room)
It was an honor and a pure delight to get to know him as both an artist and a friend.. the Monte Carlo episodes we shot together will be on my list of life highlights forever.. my heart goes out to his beautiful family… We miss you already.. 💔 Rest in Peace.

Tristan Rogers and Nancy Lee Grahn guested on this 1994 episode of "Babylon 5".
Her character was from the Minbari planet.

Nancy mentioned donating to "go2.org" which is an organization to advocate for lung cancer patients

Tristan and I had recurring characters on Babylon 5 yrs ago. He told me that standing next to me was the only time he wished he was shorter so that he didn’t have to hover over my ginormous head. When the director asked him to look me in the eyes, he said “I’d love to but that head is too distracting.” Suave, wry, smooth, debonair and ridiculously handsome. This GH Aussie Icon left his mark and will be well remembered. Sending love to his family, and just donated to https://go2.org/ in dear Tristan’s name. XO

Rest in peace Tristan Rogers 💔 I feel so incredibly fortunate to have gotten such an amazing TV dad, and I will always cherish the very heartwarming moments we got to share together 🙏❤️

Heartbroken to hear about Tristan Rogers. He was so much fun to work with on @generalhospitalabc A true character. Tristan always had that sparkle in his eye that made me smile, and he was a damn good actor. More than that, he was kind to me when I was young, and I never forgot it.
These are some pictures from my last day — including sweet ones of Tristan with my mom, and even a few with @demimoore . Grateful I got to share time with him. Rest easy, Tristan. 💔

Apologies if I didn't see this posted but Tristan did have great anecdotes on Mo's regrettable show. GH talk starts around 20 mins.

In 2025, we’ve lost: Leslie Charleson, Denise Alexander, Chris Robinson...And now Tristan Rogers.  All while Jackie Zeman’s passing in 2023 sill stings.

During the early 80s, these talented actors made GH more than just the Luke & Laura show.  The GH ensemble was Daytime’s most compelling and kept me tuning in day after day — even when the writing wavered.  After the phenom of Luke and Laura dimmed, Scorpio's adventures with the WSB, his romance with Holly, his past with Anna Devane and his tenderness with Robin set GH apart from Daytime’s small town dramas.

Tristan and his co-stars — so many now gone — made GH a cultural phenomenon. How lucky were we to have experienced that time and to have been entertained each weekday by this treasure trove of actors.

The truth is that those stars, and others, with Monty’s direction and production, kept GH number 1 when the stories they were telling didn’t always deserve it. But she fostered a spontaneity and hired strong performers who could do it, so the character interactions were fun to watch and filled in huge storytelling gaps. This was unique among the soaps at the time. When they had someone like Marland, or Pat Falken Smiths in her two separate tenures under Monty, they had actual stories worthy of the talent. Other times they kind of kept it going through a lot of charisma, thrills, and fun. Tristan was great at that, and by all accounts was happy to help other people also succeed.

Tristan Rogers' final appearance on Y&R
to air Tuesday August 26, 2025 USA (Monday August 25 Canada)

The story behind the episode sees Colin’s son, Cane (Billy Flynn), revealing details about his time away from Genoa City, including details about his father’s death, which up to this point had been referenced as an off screen event.

Tribute from Jess Walton

youngandrestlesscbs

On behalf of the entire Y&R family, Jess Walton pays tribute to her longtime scene partner, Tristan Rogers, who makes his final television appearance on tomorrow’s episode of The Young and the Restless. As we revisit one of their most memorable scenes — an emotional moment between Jill and Colin from 2014— we are reminded of the lasting impact Tristan brought to our show, both on and off screen. He will forever be missed.
