Drew is the only organic and compelling antagonist this show has, lol.

Absolutely. He needs to be shot and survive. There’s way too much mileage out of this current incarnation.

I agree. Killing off Drew would be a huge mistake and an unforced error. The show needs a villain who causes chaos every time he opens his mouth and has people hating him.

Have someone shoot him, but he has to survive. Want to make him critical? Yeah, OK LOL.

Am I alone in not particularly liking Portia with Isaiah?

No. Isaiah should not have shaved and that's all I'll say about that. Good actor, attractive man being poorly styled onscreen but I don't care about those two together.

No.  It's not very well set up IMO.  I have never gotten chemistry or heat from them in scenes before they hooked up.  I am absolutely fine with Portia/Curtis breaking up but I only got a sense of mutual admiration from Portia/Isaiah.  The whole thing seems fast and not very believable.

It's just the show shuffling around all the Black people they don't care about.

That's exactly what it feels like.  Both Portia and Isaiah could be tested with other non-black cast members.  It's the same thing GH has been doing for years.  And now Curtis and Jordan will be back together.  Meh.

They won't dare.

Curtis and Jordan can leave any time. I'm good. They don't do it because it requires investing in hiring more Black people.

At least Donnell Turner stopped completely sleepwalking his way through the show. He even seemed into scenes with Portia lately, and once upon a time he seemed like he would rather be anywhere else, especially if it meant scenes with Laura.

It’s so funny when I see these posts. Around the time I stopped watching he was still new and when I came back the Drew story was starting up so I actually never saw any of his sleepwalking work. I actually really enjoy him.

I did too, that’s why it was so annoying to watch him on autopilot and clearly not into being paired with Portia. He had real chemistry with Genie Francis and they had kind of a small adventure story with the climax of the original Cyrus storyline. You could absolutely tell he would rather be making sparks with Laura at that time. He’s attractive and when they use him correctly it works for me. At the time I wondered if he was mad they broke Curtis and Jordan up, although the last Jordan was not an exciting performer.

I almost wonder if DT was irritated by being given a grown daughter with Trina-like he feels it stifles some of Curtis's ability to move on to other women and he's permanently tied to Portia.
