I expected a wilder, more excited reaction from Leslie after she finally believed it haha. I can just see her going on a big shopping spree and throwing it all in the Duprees' faces. So if Leslie and Eva are now rich, I guess that leaves Jan/Ashley/Derek/Mona/Laura as the only 'have nots'?

Leslie and Eva would be nourve riche... which in the eyes of the Duprees would still be 'have nots'.

Or even heard of it.  I thought that was odd too.

We haven't seen Febreeze or Tide in a long time... maybe by saying that now, we'll get some corny scenes later this week of Nicole spraying her office   

How did Peaches have Leslie's contact information including where she recently moved to last year when they havent been in contact in over 2 decades?

That's what I was thinking. So Peaches and Leslie fell out for damn near 20 years at least if Eva don't even remember her.

Also, the whole story about how Peaches found out about the inheritance needs more details. I am still confused how she found out about the trust. So Barbara's last known descendent (her sister) passed. Ok, so what? I understand that Barbara's sister/aunt to Leslie didn't know that Leslie was Barbara's daughter but why wouldn't Peaches have found out about this trust. However, it would be obvious that Barbara's family was suddenly living it up and people talk. So did Peaches move away and cut ties like she was supposed to?

😆 😂 I do wish they had used a more age appropriate actress to play Leslie's mother. 

Do they really need to have some reasonably young woman in this old lady wig? Because that is what it looks like. The talent pool in ATL is not that thin. It's giving when they turned Tara Martin into Granny Moses on AMC.

Leslie said the first thing she's gonna get Peaches the best care money can buy. Awwww. I hope they find a miracle cure for her ailment and she sticks around

• Confirmation: Dana's full name is Dana Leslie Thomas, so when she is 'Leslie', she is just using her middle name. Okay, Buffy Anne Summers tea.
• Nicole and Vanessa are four or five sheets to the wind; they are enjoying themselves, and I love that for them.
• Shocked that Ashley asked Shanice to be Derek's physical therapist; much like Ashley having a conflict of interest, would Shanice also not qualify for that, considering they have been semi-dating?
• A colleague at Uptown? Is this a setup so that Nicole can run into Ted?
• Well, Peaches came with receipts for Dana. Wow.
• Vanessa is not pleased to see Douglas with a drink in his hand and attached to his mouth.
• We have got Nicole meeting up with Madison... I would like to think this could be a work-based friendship that could blossom!
• "The whole truth according to Peaches." What a sentence; poor Eva is overwhelmed by what is going on, and I do not blame her.
• Look at Peaches flirting a bit and then giving some unsolicited advice that might just help Ted out where Nicole is concerned.
• Vanessa delivering the ultimate blow: keep her happy or she is cutting him off! Do it!
• Poor Derek... confined to a wheelchair... should have stopped trying to do more than your body was meant to do, or you should have been in better shape.

Notes:

• I truly, deeply hope that the writers keep Shanice leveled out, because episodes like today prove she is much more accessible and likeable when she is not being the gossipy gossip or being unprofessional at work. And Ernestine Johnson can handle that kind of material.
• I just noticed: why the Hell is the pocket on Derek's hospital gown in the middle? So awkward.
• The music in the scene where Dana and Eva were celebrating was a bit too loud over the dialogue. They could have dialed it back a few.
