Even when I was a teenager I wasn’t dumb enough to think some woman stealing me from my parents, was someone I needed to know more about and wax poetic about. This writing is stupid and they’re trying to make Lulu the bad guy for being rightfully pissed. Brit STOLE HER EMBRYO AS HER DOCTOR. I’m at the point where I need Sidwell to take out Rocco.

The show is obviously trying to prop Britt and her actions.  If I was writing the show I would stay away from the Rocco/Ben topic almost all together if I wanted Britt to look good.  Have Britt show remorse, apologize for her actions, and move on to whatever her next story is.  Nothing about the narrative that Britt was a caring, loving "mother" that made mistakes works in the context of the Lulu/Rocco/Dante story.

The only thing Rocco has a right to be upset about is the fact Dante/Lulu changed his name from Ben to Rocco lol.

The complete erasure of TJ pisses me off regularly. He’s the defining relationship of Molly’s whole life. Got royally screwed by Kristina and he’s just sent into the void after being able to grieve for maybe 2 episodes? It’s like everytime I want to be really into this show, there’s stupid ass audience insulting [!@#$%^&*] like this.

They should have just given TJ/Molly a happy ending and had them start over somewhere new.  You could always bring them back in a few years.  Molly brings nothing to the show at this point.  She wanders around town talking to family, talking about legal cases, and sometimes flirting with Cody.  In fact, if we are talking about Alexis's daughters, Sam probably had the most purpose of the 3 with Jason and Lulu returning and got killed off lol.  And I think everyone knows how I feel about Sam/KeMo.😂

I can’t appreciate it because you still want them to be endgame 😂

True and fair.  But at least I can acknowledge they were a toxic mess!!!  I still love them, but some stories and scenes are cringe watching as an adult.

Pretty much.

Yeah, it's strange because I don't dislike KV, JK, or Molly and Cody.  I keep wondering why they are still around getting airtime more than anything else.  I am entirely indifferent to them and that's worse than me hating them.

I still say Cody is salvageable, but he's been wasted this long and is

Spoiler

off contract

so I doubt anything will change.

You're right. Rocco might be a fun nick name, but seriously??

I wish I know exactly what Tajh Bellow did to deserve to be just dropped off the canvas, but  I agree, Molly should have been sent away too. There is no reason for her to around at this point.

T.J. and Molly both should have been dumped years ago. T.J. was barely a character even when the great Tequan Richmond was in the role.

I think Cody is full of potential, but they seem to have steadily squandered it. I won't be shocked if nothing comes of him or he vanishes too.

I would've been down for them to do more with T.J. back in the TR days, but by the time of the recast he was already a non-entity. Bellow did a good job but there's very rarely been a character there, just an excuse to say they have the couple around. And meanwhile I'd much rather just bring Tom Hardy Jr. lol.

Molly is like the only female on the show I can tolerate of the younger set other than Elizabeth, I say ship off useless Kristina, keep Molly, she can drive more story than Kristina

Tell me you didn’t grow up around a lot of Italian Americans without telling me you didn’t grow up around a lot of Italian Americans.

I grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I know lot of Italian Americans

My comment was about a soap opera character, plus that's not a common name of someone born on the US.

If I understand correctly Jean Passanante did so in the midwest & created Janet Ciccone on ATWT as a representation of herself. Wait, this is the reverse of what you asked. She did grow up around ... Oops.

I was neutral on TJ at best. He never got a clear point of view and very little time was spent on he and Molly's relationship even though they were together for years.

Once Tajh Bellow got a chance to act and give a perspective about Kristina and the baby he was just dumped.  And the show should have stated TJ left to start a new life instead of apparently working in the unfilmed part of GH.

He and Molly should still be trying to work things out even if they eventually parted, but Molly just moved on with all of that and is trying to get into Cody's pants.  Which, I get, but it gives her even less depth than before because I always believed she cared very deeply about TJ, their relationship, and their potential family.

I totally understand.

I used to hate Tajh Bellow as a recast TJ. But he (and that bubble butt) grew on me. I really started to see his potential in the role during the Willow disease storyline and wished they had done an affair between the two of them then. But alas. And I didn't want the surrogacy storyline, but I liked that we did get a point of view on him. And I wished the writers had kept going on that. Again alas. I mean...the last time we saw him and Molly together, it was TJ moving out. Him being in town is just petty shade. Moreso because does Molly even mention him now?

They really should be trying to work it out still. What I liked in the aftermath of Kristina's fall was that there was a widening rift between them. It appeared to be going somewhere, and it was just dropped. The rift could have been sooo used to lead into what is going on now with her and Cody. Meanwhile, TJ could be leaning on someone else...or dare I say...Lucas since Tajh and Van also had good chemistry.

Yikes!  That's a really hard scene/episode to get through to this day because of all the things and Sonny practically hitting her.

@Antoynewill appreciate me calling that out.

Because I remember Sonny manhandling her and her begging at the door and a year or so later Sonny telling Brenda he was going to hit her.  And her response was...but you didn't.  It doesn't age well lol.  Let's focus on sexy Alley kiss scenes instead.

My bad. I saw Vanessa and Maurice looked like they did an interview on it and thought of you. :(

You ain't lying though. Sam funnily enough still had potential in light of the returns.

Right now, Molly doesn't really do anything. A contrast to when it seem like her character was going somewhere.

I still say Cody is salvageable

Probably because their scenes have mostly been ridiculous meet-cute scenes and not in the adorable way of meet-cute at that. The show will be going on and then take a SHARP turn into a (bad) rom-com when they came on screen. From what I can tell, the writing has mellow on that with their scenes, but very little. At this point, I zone out when they are in scenes. Not helped by the elephant in the room that is TJ every time I see them together.

The funny thing is I agree with you on salvageable Cody. I thought it was stupid when Kristina got him to try to seduce Ava. So stupid. But watching it play out...and seeing the potential for drama it could bring due to all who are involved (and people I care for)...it's a good turn for him. And it gets Cody out of that meet-cute mess into something a little bit meatier.

I am not an Italian American, but I dislike the name Rocco.  I can't see Lulu being strongly attached to an Italian name like that even if Dante was.  Plus it reminds me of the old cartoon Rocko's Modern life lol.

I think Josh Kelly makes Cody work more than the character on paper does.  He's a likeable actor.

I like TR better than Bellow, but like you stated, he did impress me with the Irene stuff.

Oh, no worries.  Just not my favorite scene to re-visit.  The begging, the violence, the whole breakup was just rough.  I have seen it a million times of course.

I think VM and MB have done several interviews about it and their motivation and the way the scene was played made sense.  It just doesn't hold up well and Sonny has repeated the same mistakes for years now.
