Know what you mean. I would never wish someone losing a job, but ... with Tomas, I do not feel like he is actually acting. He poses & the camera loves him but that is not acting. I think he's really a model in sheep's clothing. He relies on his good looks but has zero charisma. Someone said that Eva was flat, well Tomas is flatter.

Yeah, gaslighting might be too strong of a word when talking about June. I can save that for Tomas. I like how June's storyline is developing and curious to see, like Martin's Secret and how it ties into an issue that black people have dealt with, will MVJ do the same with June. 

 

It definitely doesn't look like misdirection after that confrontation between Regina (sidenote...loving that actress) and June. But I can't help but feel there's still a shoe to drop.

The Kat/Tomas/Eva triangle took on a new turn with Eva into Tomas, Tomas into Kat, and Kat no longer into Tomas nor herself.   I really hope that Kat examines her motivation for losing her virginity... all in the name of one upping her newly discovered half sister Eva.

I think we all know she did it to spite Eva. I find her inability to acknowledge that hilarious. But I also thought it was funny that she said as much in dialogue. Just the contradiction of it all.

Yep. But I always felt that they were writing Eva/Tomas like they are star-crossed from the start. So it's nice to see it a lot more on the surface...so to speak. 

The show hired quite a few newcomers and people with few credits who would start a lower salaries than more experienced names. Alegria is definitely a budget hire since he this only his second role with a named character.

Hahahaha! That is cute. Moreso that 1 For Improvement given the discussion here about Martin's kids. I don't find it out of place watching versus GH where I feel when the teens do slang, it feels more jarring to me. I would say BTG feel more natural for me.

I think Tomas is getting what he deserves. He has played games with both Kat and Eva so it's just desserts that he is set up for a big let down.
