😂🤣. I noticed that a lot of Martin's scenes have some interesting undertones. I don't mind them cause I know he won't be allowed to swap partners like the straights, so I'm happy the writers are having some fun with him.

Going to commercials and the last scene of an episode are all slow fades to black now.  No more quick cuts (and there hasn't been a lot of this in between scenes now either).  Wonder if they took the week off to edit these episodes or if they were already in the can.  Anyway, I like the improvement.  Now just improve the music direction and I'll be even more happy.

I do like how B and A story are crossing with each other in this Vanessa/Joey connection. And of course she would use those feminine wiles.

 

Awww Martin called Smitty baby. But smh...these chances to tell the truth are good. And near-misses end in stakes going even higher. Moreso knowing Kenny is STILL out there.

True...I shouldn't but I just don't like that attitude from Ash.

 

Now on those claims, I might just disagree. And that is only because Dani was doing what Andre was wanting her to do in slowly coming out with the relationship to her family. And he KNEW she had started. He's not coming across favorable in this at all. Which actually surprises me given how even-kneel he tends to be. 

Andre was the one worthy of a slap (Ashley might get there at some point). He knew Dani was not in a great place and could have left her alone from the start. Nicole was right to be concerned, but she was so judgmental about it that she didn't land a valid point about Andre being too much of a player for Dani to be with.

I agree on Andre. But again...even if she is in the right...I just didn't like the attitude Ashley had. Side-note to it...I did like that if we were to get a triangle...Ashley MIGHT be able to keep up with Hurricane Dani better than Hayley has, though.  

 

I am still so disappointed in Andre (and can't wait for your thoughts on today @kalbir). He really did prove Nicole right. And while I was sure Dani/Andre were short term (but hoped in spite of the clear fact that the real A story was going to be Dani/Bill/Hayley), I didn't think it would end like that for them. Surprisingly resonated with real life as much as the whole relationship did. If anything, I'm surprised and proud of how Dani handled herself. 

Andre is so ugh! He is also wrong in this situation. I couldn't stand Andre from the start, which is an unpopular opinion, but he just does nothing for me. He is supposed to be some playboy, which was brought up by Ashley and Dani again both yesterday and today, but he moves like Eeyore in Playboy drag. For starters (on yetserday's episode), it was cringy when he asked Ashley what he can keep doing, because she hadn't looked over at Derek and Shanice for a while. Smooth as sandpaper for someone who is supposed to be a Smooth Operator /Sade. So whack!

Also, what is he even talking about with Dani? Saying she's not clear with her intentions when we have seen her be very open and honest with him. She also told her sister and daughter about their relationship, which he practically forced the idea on her...and for what? When Nicole questioned him what he wanted with Dani, he, himself, said that he wasn't sure and that they were figuring that out. So, why the pressure? Also, both are too damn grown to be telling family they are with someone to not even be in a committed relationship. Unless, you have defined whatever the hell you are doing, your families do not need to know all that business. Dani just got out of a messy and chaotic divorce and he hasn't had a real relationship probably ever, so again...why all the pressure on his end? If he really cares that much for Dani why not give her the time? Why not keep things under wraps and allow each other to date around? But to force her to tell people, just to go try and mess around with other women is not cute. 

Then the worst offense is his infatuation with Ashley. I was so glad Dani said what we were all thinking. Ma'am is basic. 

I am like please tell me these writers aren't trying to have us believe that Ashley isn't anything but. 

Either make Andre an f boy and have him own it or don't have him move this way. He really thought he was in the right. Dani should have said some of that energy she had for Danielle to eat Andre up too.
