B&B preempted on Monday, June 23 due to news.
In any markets not affected by the news, CBS broadcast episode #8734, which originally aired on March 25, 2022.

New episodes are being pushed to the next airdate.

CBS.com and ParamountPlus didn't upload the preempted episode or the repeat.

CTV-Canada didn't know about the preemption in time, so CTV broadcast the new episode.

Monday's preempted episode is up on CTV.ca,
listed as "Episode 193, Monday June 23."
This is the episode that will air Tuesday June 24 in USA.

What a strange interview. Almost doesn't sound like her at all. Nothing bad of course, great message. Just lacks the usual KKL vibe. But I get it's the type of magazine too. 

Love that it didn't have even one word about Bold or Brooke. Brad doesn't deserve any promo. Since he is not using Brooke appropriately.

I thought that was a pretty good week. I guess it again says something that I can say that even with the repetitive conversations (again) and not much moving (again). But as I said last week...and I didn't mind (especially since I'm working through John's death on DAYS)...some fluff.

 

Speaking of death...let me get this out of the way first Greg...but I'm starting to look at Liam and wondering when is he dying? Because he's coming across like Willow came across on GH when she was dying for a whole year. At least he looks weak.

 

I've enjoyed all of Nick's return so far. And OF COURSE, Ridge wants to sit there and get jealous. Ridge...can STFU. He left Brooke for silly reasons. HE continued to be all about how he feels about Taylee. The first sign of some man sniffing around Brooke and he wants to sit there and start marking territory. When your current lover, your daughter, and anyone with eyes point out how you are coming across aka JEALOUS it is usually best to sit this one out. 

 

'Sunshine?' Really? Well...like grandma, like granddaughter I guess. I still can't believe Luna is doing this. Or perhaps I should be side-eying Brad Bell for using her for what will surely be JMW temp exit. 

 

I really enjoyed the talk between Brooke and Katie about Nick. And I wish we had gotten the talk between Carter and Deacon about marrying Hope cuz Deacon being encouraging was off given they were trying to beat the mess out of each other the last time they saw each other.

 

And YES I enjoyed the return of DAPHNE. Even if she is only abroad for now. And Steffy trying to find ways to get Daphne to come back for the relaunch. Yep, Hope should feel threatened. 

 

Usually Brooke is the most embarrassing person around when it comes to talking about Ridge and her destiny.

Today it was Taylor, who asked Ridge where their relationship was heading. Are you kidding me with this? It ended with a Taylor marriage proposal and Ridge looking flummoxed, as if he has no idea what's going on.

The writing for women on this show never fails to be embarrassing.

Which is all the more frustrating since it is the women who drive this show and has done so since practically episode 1.  

I was going to complain again about Taylor groveling before Ridge with a proposal, but that was trumped by "Let's Catch Luna on a Lipstick Cam."

We're supposed to think the people who came up with this plan are intelligent?

What Bradley Bell is doing to Taylor's character right now... is really vile. He forgot that once upon a time... MILLIONS of fans were Taylor fans and they used to be the most vocal and active ones at times.

You know why right? I know you adore Brooke, but it's cause of his obsession with her. He hates that Tridge was his father's favorite and that his father preferred Tridge and Taylor over Brooke 

 

He only recasts so he can humiliate the character. ATP I'd rather they kill her off for good. 

Taylor has been Taylor since Krista Allen was here and even then...

I think it's speculation based on how he wrote them. Brooke being clear 3rd choice. Brooke and Ridge's "Destiny" crap only started under Bradley

Availability early when Brad took over as HW could be a big factor to why he prefers Brooke. Tylo's two 5 month departures both came at bad times for the show. In '94 she left right before the summer of OJ pre-emptions. In '96 she left again in a period when AMC started bleeding viewers, but DAYS ended up being the main beneficiary.

If he is so obsessed with Brooke, why is she such a non-factor the past 10 years. He was obsessed with her back in the day, yes - most hardcore obsession was 1993-2013. But right now he is more obsessed with other characters - most notably Steffy and Ridge. Brooke is not leading in episode counts or storylines. Otherwise I agree that he humiliates the character of Taylor on purpose. He absolutely does. 

God when I think about it... I really don't think this show has any hope for the future. It's really a corpse of a show.
