With her character set to reach a breaking point following revelations that her husband had been withholding a major secret from her throughout their marriage, Daphnée Duplaix‘s Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson led the show’s rankings for April, appearing in 15 of the show’s 20 episodes.

In second place, Arielle Prepetit‘s Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne appeared in 14 episodes, most of which surrounded her dealing with a lawsuit against her father’s law firm. Meanwhile, Karla Mosley and RhonniRose Mantilla, who play Dani Dupree Hamilton and Chelsea Hamilton, respectively, tied for third place, appearing in 13 episodes, highlighted by the release of Chelsea’s new fashion line.

Among the male cast, Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill Hamilton) and exiting cast member Maurice Johnson (Ted Richardson) tied for fifth place with 12 episodes each, followed by Brandon Claybon‘s Martin Richardson, who appeared in 11 episodes to place seventh on the chart.

With 44 episodes aired through April 30, Duplaix also leads the year-to-date rankings, appearing in 37 of the show’s episodes. Meanwhile, Mosley placed second with 33 episodes, followed by a third-place tie between Durrett and Prepetit, each appearing in 31 episodes. In a tie for fifth place, Johnson and Mantilla appeared in 29 episodes since the show began on February 24.

Among directors, Phideaux Xavier (“General Hospital”) directed 12 of the show’s 20 episodes in April, followed by Steven Williford (“All My Children,” “Days of our Lives”) in second place with five episodes.

Former “Days of our Lives” head writer Ron Carlivati led among breakdown writers with five episodes overall, followed by an equal split of four episodes among the show’s script writers, which includes Lynn Martin, Cheryl L. Davis, Danielle Page, Jazmen Darnell Brown and Judy Tate.

Special credit goes out to SON Community member Liberty City for compiling the list and keeping track of the “Beyond the Gates” rankings.

Love me some Daphnee Duplaix.

Jon Lindstrom had the same number of episodes as contract actor Mike Manning..

Jon is recurring and his acting and storyline stink. He should be on less in my opinion.

I couldn't have agreed more about her being in the majority of episodes. She has been a great lead and foundation, and truly the heart of the show!
