When it comes to posting weekly spoilers on the SON Community, please be advised that there are stringent embargoes put in place for "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless."

Although certain sites freely violate these embargoes, posting the information without ethics, Soap Opera Network and the SON Community WILL adhere to the embargoes set by the show's publicity team and/or producers.

Therefore, members of the SON Community are not to post any weekly spoiler information, regardless of where you find spoilers, without first keeping the embargoes in mind.

To help clear up any uncertainty, please keep the following in mind when posting weekly spoilers:

Beyond the Gates

• Note: Although there is some confusion as to the show's official embargo lift time, as the BTG publicity team only specifically states all video/promo materials are embargoed until Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT, to keep things in order, the official embargo lift time for spoilers we will adhere to is the aforementioned Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT.
   
• Emargo Lift: Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT.

The Bold and the Beautiful

• Note: The embargo officially lifts on Sundays (no set time). Although the show does not seem to enforce this in practice, Sunday is the official embargo lift day provided by the B&B publicity team.
   
• Embargo Lift: Sunday (not set time)

General Hospital

• Note: The embargo officially lifts on Fridays at 3:00 p.m. ET/noon PT. Although the show does not always send spoilers before the embargo lift, as it frequently sends information after the fact, Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET/noon PT is the official lift day/time provided by the GH publicity team.
   
• Embargo Lift: Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET/noon PT.

The Young and the Restless

• Note: The embargo officially lifts on Fridays at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT, and strictly prohibits program listings services from releasing information before this time. This is the official lift day/time provided by the Y&R publicity team.
   
• Embargo Lift: Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT.

Days of our Lives

• Note: There is currently no official embargo day/time put in place by Peacock/Corday Productions. That said, the DAYS publicity team sends information out on Fridays.
   

• Embargo Lift: Friday (not set time)

The people I know who get the GH "Next Week" previews, also called Spoilers, get them after the show, not during, not before. I am speaking of after the show, Friday, eastern time. And, also they are literally afraid when they see others posting ahead of time. Just outlining what happens with one outlet. Sounds like they, like you, are in good shape. And, really, why does anyone need them before they're supposed to have them?

Thanks, I didn't know.  I have deleted the B&B daily spoilers I posted today. I will repost on Sunday.

Not your fault. As I said, the show doesn't seem to enforce it as every other (legit) site has already posted them.

Shame [other] sites cannot follow the rules. Good on you, @Errol!

I stopped putting up spoilers. I let Errol and Co. post them because of the rules.

Ha! It's such a shame... that these people (the ones who knew about the restriction and chose to ignore it) lack posting-ethics and publish them before they are allowed to. Such a shame!  I can't help but wonder... What are they hurrying for? Maybe they want to post everything before anyone else has the chance to do it? Maybe some of them just don't care about the consequences. Hmmm. Nice to know that SON is reminding people how it should be done. By following the rules and being respectful to the embargoes. Thank you@Errol.

I wonder what's up with BOLD and them always wanted spoilers posted so late, I mean what difference does it make if it's Friday or Sunday. I don't mean us posting them, I mean them letting the spoilers be posted

I previously inquired in 2023, and for a brief period, they had changed the embargo to Fridays, but not too long after, Sundays were put back in the embargo section in the weekly emails. It is what it is. No clue either.

That's weird cause I asked Casey about it on Twitter, why they aren't posted with the other soaps and he seemed puzzled too lol
