Thanks so much for that detail.

Robotic cameras? How does that work?

So it seems that the eateries are permanent sets, hence why we see them everyday.

PB said the Abbott house is permanent. Maybe the Newman Ranch.

That means the only money is being spent on erecting  a couple of other sets to be used for that week  eg Nate's apartment, Billy's house, Newman office etc

It really is destroying the storytelling. Especially with JG's focus on business stories.

Tbh I’m ready for Sharon to get with a silver fox. It was gross years ago when the writers put her with Victor and Tucker but I feel like enough time has passed. The actress is older now, and if they aren’t gonna put her back with Nick then might as well put her with a hot older, powerful man. (Not Victor, just to be clear..)

That’s very interesting and thanks for the response. That was a question that has been nagging me for awhile.

Thanks for letting us know about that.  All this time, I've been thinking they were just too lazy to create a simple, temporary set for an office.  That clearly ain't the case; it's the never-ending budget crisis.  The "business stories" about all these zillion different companies can't be told effectively in a restaurant, so they probably need to re-think the type of stories they're telling.

Sigh. Even though MAB was one of the first to completely murder this show, she did have me tuning in everyday to see what would happen next because her writing was so off the wall. I can’t say that about JG. It’s just flat and boring, and not only is he boring but his writing is still just as damaging as MAB was. What’s worst than that?

This is the worst May sleeps in years and going head to head with May 2021.

Has anything actually happened on this show at all?

I can see why Alison Lainier bailed on this kingdom of boredom. You can tell JG is now even struggling with his new pet Claire.

Where and when does all of this pointless misery come to an end?

Bad enough I barely remember LOL. I recall the month was tied between the surrogacy, Phyllis sleuthing on her laptop at the bar in the Grand Phoenix about Tara and Ashland, and Sally getting Summer her dream job to get her out of town.

Yeah. I think the high point was Amanda meeting Imani.

JG’s first year was okay, nothing special but an improvement over over  Mal’s final months despite resetting everything back to like it was 2013 again.

I’m not sure what JG had intended long term going into 2020, but COVID really did a number on the show and really has never since recovered.

I’d March 2022-summer 2023 was probably his best work this go around.

    • Meg Bennett as a contestant on Three On A Match (1971). I remember Meg saying on a 80's Pyramid appearance that she was a contestant on this show and said it furnished her first apartment in New York as a struggling actress. She started in SFT in 1973.

I wonder how Janice Lynde would have been as Patti ?  Robert Reed seemed pissy in everything he did outside of the Brady projects. Ironically, he thought the BB was beneath his talents a serious actor.

    • This entire week has been really good!  First starting with Xander beating up Philip.  I too didn't expect to see Xander get so violent, by kicking Philip numerous times. And I didn't expect Philip to tell Xander that "Sarah knew," which lead to Wednesday's wonderful scenes with Xander/Sarah confronting each other.  I think those scenes were definitely Lindsay's best acting that she's done on the show.  I'm not really a huge fan of Sarah/Xander as a romantic couple - I don't hate them either.  But Lindsay and Paul do have a ton of acting chemistry and these scenes proved that.  I don't read spoilers so I had no idea Bo/Hope were going to be on today.  That was a nice surprise.  Same with Ciara showing up. I totally forgot Ciara has two kids with Ben. I liked how she talked about them and Zack.  I've always liked Victoria Konefal and thought she did a good job today. And yes, I didn't mind seeing Ciara's usual cleavage shot during those emotional scenes. Thank you, wardrobe department!  LOL Could the lead up to John's death have been better?  Sure.  But I didn't hate it.  I liked that John's final act was saving Bo's life.  And that full circle moment at the hospital with Marlena was poetic.  I was starting to get a bit teary eyed during today's episode.  Next week is going to be tough.

I don't know if John getting blown up to pieces would've been the right idea.

    •  Audra and Imani fighting over Nate could’ve been fun…if written by the BTG writers of course!
    • IKR. Silk Press Sheila has no chill.
    • Same. If he is going to recovered from burns this fast...he could at least be darker.
    • “That’s MISS Bitch” absolutely made me hollered. I needed that today!

    • I don't think she has at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she say her mother passed?   Don't get me started. Damian should have been kept as head of Dumas and we question his motives. The story up til the Dumas plot twist was great, refreshing, and had twists and turns that the Dumas twist was just unnecessary and seem to be made so the story could be hijacked by everyone NOT Devon/Nate/Lily so they have something to do. Even now, that part of the story...and their involvement in it...feels like an afterthought.  Yep. Pretty much.
    • I feel Audra pretty much replaced Imani.
