Here's the thread devoted to them. If they ran longer than two installments, I think they should go to the miniseries thread, but I'm not going to be a hall monitor.

I should do my homework and find out what stars like Victoria Principal, Cheryl Ladd, etc. thought about their TV movies. I imagine that the stars who had regular series work liked having something to break up their regular grind and/or having an extra paycheck. And it probably didn't hurt their Q ratings, either.

If I was a motivational speaker, this would be my entrance music.

NBC really was letting it all hang out in the late '70s and early '80s to try to get interest. Many times, it failed, but what fascinating failures - some of the most fascinating in TV history.

THIS! I'm no revisionist historian, but the Fred Silverman era deserves some credit for trying.

Claire Labine wrote a few tv movies in the early 90s, I always wondered why soap writers didn't think to write tv movies in between soap opera writing gigs.

"The Bride in Black" is probably Susan Lucci's best role outside of AMC.  She had a good script to work with and a good co-star in David Soul; and even though seeing her work in a deli was a stretch, it ended up not being as soul-crushing as watching her play a dual role ("One is a NYC cop; the other, a stone cold killer!") in "Double Edge."

Kicks aired Monday March 11 1985.

A wealthy man with a penchant for living on the edge and engaging in dangerous, life-threatening activities becomes romantically involved with a female university professor who has the same proclivities.

It ranked 50th for the week 13.2/21 share. 3rd in it's timeslot.

Sharing Richard - 1988 Tv movie

A tv movie that featured soap actresses and one not talked about much.

Basically these three women are good friends that each meet a man that turns out to be the same guy.   So naturally the three women decide to share him without letting him know that this is being done.  What can go wrong with an arrangement like this LOL

An interesting bit of trivia that one of the writers of this tv movie went on to create CSI Miami, CSI NY, and CSI Cyber.

Well, at least they played it for laughs (or so it seems in the promo), lol.

I will confirm that it was a rom com/chick lit tv movie.
