No reason for this guy to have had a role created for him on an already over bloated canvas.

I was a Beastmaster fan and liked Goddard as Cane during his intro story and pairing with Amber during the LML Y&R era. It was when Lily became chained to him and DG and his fan & bts pot stirring antics started to border on distasteful that I started having no use for the guy. Hopefully the time off humbled him properly.

It sounds to me like the role is temporary as part of the Alias Joss saga. But one never knows with Frank. Look at the Eva LaRue situation.

The airplane has been gassed up and is ready to fly over the Prospect Studios at a moment's notice.  (Not that they'll need it, of course.  Frank hardly ever fires anyone).

I do think it is hilarious he lost the Aussie role (Brennan) to the New York kid Frank watched grow up on OLTL. I love Chris McKenna but he is miscast.
