Yes, probably she reacted to this loss by recalling the earlier loss when Ted cruelly tossed her away. 

Could Andre's footage come into play for other reasons down the line? Let's say he mistakes Leslie as a nurse, right before she does something wicked, or his camera catches her in the act.

In fictional crime dramas, behavioral analysis, fbi most wanted, etc etc,
(not a source of accuracy, but whatever), I have learned that the criminal's behavior is ramped up when a recent event triggers a memory of an old event, just as you suggested.

I have to say, with Shanice back from PTO, I really hope they sit down and think through what's next to her. Fan reaction has been strong and the actress is one of their very best. I don't want them to just throw her into a story, I feel like they need to add her to contract and plan a full expansion for her character. I'd use it as an opportunity to bring in a family member or two for her and I'd get her out of the hospital and chemistry test her with every man on canvas.

Same. They could make that security guard her brother, I forget his name, the one outside that gave Dani Bill's alarm passcode.
