Members edgeofnik
I decided to stream this week because of the $B + Lame scenes. Honestly, much better than I imagined because every single line was based on raw truths on both sides - no retcons or whitewashing. SC actually made me feel Liam's frustration at trying to understand and reach $B. At the same time, when $B finally unloaded with some of his truth, it worked - especially when $B reminded Liam that he accepted him immediately + Mr. Waffles! These scenes, the Heather Tom episode, as well as the scenes with Deacon/Hope demonstrates that B&B can craft solid emotional and interesting drama. Hope's realization that Brooke's #1 priority will always be acceptance from Ridge/Forresters is long overdue. Brooke has always *followed her, um, heart* which is why Hope was the anti-Brooke in the first place. The stories are there, but Brad has made weird choices (Sheila shooting Steam and Lethal Lunacy - neither of which needed to happen) instead of digging deeper. The best hope is that Brooke comforts $B during this crisis, but ends up accidentally bedding Liam, which should've happened years ago.
Members Maxim
I loved when Hope was the Anti Brooke. It worked on so many levels. Brad should have never ruined that.
