I haven't posted in a while or spent too much time reading the board.  I have some questions to ask of whoever wants to answer.

1. Does it appear to anyone else that Emma's history with Spencer has been written out?  I haven't heard the show ever reference it, even as they have mentioned other parts of Emma's history.  It would have been interesting to see Trina and Emma talking about him.

2. I have never seen Alexa Havins in the opening credits.  Ever.  Has anyone else noticed that?

3. The focus of Brooklynn's anger with her mom and grandma seemed to be entirely about the fact that Gloria knew about the adoption.  They seem to have ignored the part where Lois knew that Brooklynn had a son.  It seems like Brooklyn quickly adjusted to the fact that her baby was a boy and that part of the secret wasn't worth dwelling on.

4. Taggart is totally gone from Trina's life.  Curtis is her father in every way now, including being called dad.

5. The show didn't think there was anything worth discussing when it came to Lucky and Cam's relationship during William Lipton's brief return over Christmas.  There was no tension or sense of abandonment.  There was no emotion from Cameron regarding the only man he ever called dad.  It was all pretty much mailed in, with the main focus being on Cam's new GF.  BTW, did anyone else notice that he quietly broke up with Yuki, the girl who we were previously told he had been dating?

Have any of these subjects come up here?

Just a brutally boring episode today. Watching the show rearrange itself around the Sidwell clan is making me very uneasy.

How do you think the actress who played Blaze feels...

This is what annoys me the most.  It's so insulting to the history of Taggert and Trina.  I dislike it very much when soap writers randomly designated a bio-parent to have precedence over the parent who loved and raised the child.  I don't know why the show doesn't use Real Andrews anymore.  But even if they don't want to use the actor, Trina should be written to be thinking of Taggert as her father, and mention him from time to time.

You aren't wrong about any of this. I imagine if Spencer returns, we will get more of his past with Emma (I'd guess he and Gio would be in a triangle with Emma), but for now they seem to not care.

They should be doing more with Brook Lyn's angst and pain, especially as it is an aspect Amanda Setton is better at playing.

They should have done more with Cam and Lucky during his brief return, as Cam seemed to see Franco as his "father." But they didn't even want Lucky back, in my opinion, so I'm not surprised they didn't bother.

Lol. Are we sure we’re not getting her back? Wasn’t she pictured on the set recently?

I couldn’t stand any version of Fake Coward/CONnie however Megan Ward >>> bug eyed Kelly Sullivan. I always forget to give KSu credit for driving me away from the show alongside the OLTL 3, Emme Rylan and Ugly Betty and Dr Bitch. She’s a scenery chewer and the type of odd actress JFP loves trying to make happen as a lead. I’m still mad at JFP for hiring her again at YR and letting her eat up airtime there too

Megan Ward’s days were numbered the moment Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo was headed back, and she was already getting put to pasture by SJB and Lisa Lo before that. She was okay as an actress, had decent chemistry with her scene partners and a very distinct character but lacked a certain star quality, sex appeal and likability to maintain a leading lady spot long term on this show.

Megan Ward was basically gone before Vanessa even came back.  I was actually hoping Brenda and Kate might share some scenes, but MW popped up once, asked Lulu to get Brenda on the Crimson cover, and that might have been the last time we saw her.  Sonny was hanging out with Claire Walsh instead because I guess Dahlia Salem needed a job or something.  And instead of even making Claire vs. Brenda dramatic Claire got dumped, vowed revenge, had one scene with Brenda, and moved to Alaska.   I am not making that up.  She really got transferred to Alaska lol.

I assume we will get Blaze's dad, long lost sister, homophobic grandmother, and possibly a few cousins before we get JGL back lol.

She should feel grateful she was employed for as long as she was (a.k.a. past her expiration).

I can't argue, but it does feel odd to me that she goes and all this family come in. That does happen on soaps surprisingly often though.

Ric and Ava are 🔥. I loved their hospital room scenes today. I'm also a bit impressed that GH is taking Ric and Elizabeth's car accident seriously by showing them each having a lengthy recovery process. Usually on this show, even if you're shot or poisoned by polonium or whatever, you're back to normal within a week.
