Members titan1978
His music on DAYS and especially GH is seared into my memory. From the days when soaps were crafted with more care for the final product, and artistry was still there.

Members Contessa Donatella
So sad, although I believe it's clear that he lived a long, happy, fulfilled, amazing life. But, in a way he was such a part of my life. So obviously loved all of his music at DAYS & GH! Plus, he had some primetime, right? And, as I like to say sometimes ... May light perpetual shine upon him & may angels & heavenly hosts guide him to his new resting place & may he be met there by long unseen family & friends & beloved pets. And, may a feast be laid at a groaning table, only awaiting his presence. What a celebration of life.

Members janea4old
DO NOT CLICK to read the entire article. "countylocalnews" is an AI clickbait site containing malware I read the above post plus the rest of the article. It felt like it was written by an AI. Some of the sentences repeated the same idea in slightly different words. They claimed to have info from tweets, etc. I noticed no author and no "about" on the website, nothing about the staff or contact info for "countylocalnews". I looked at some of their other "articles" and they all seemed fake about random topics. I checked and verified. It's an AI clickbait site. https://www.technologyreview.com/2023/06/26/1075504/junk-websites-filled-with-ai-generated-text-are-pulling-in-money-from-programmatic-ads/ Donna, before posting from a site, check that site's "about" page, usually found via a link at the bottom of its homepage or via the site's menu. If it doesn't exist, then it's probably a fake site. Sometimes a site will lead back through several links to a content farm on another continent. So someone exists but only for clicks. That takes a bit of work to search and find. In this case there's nothing at all, so that should have been a red flag. That and the entire writing style was a giveaway that it was not written by a human. I did a "whois" on the domain name countylocalnews.com, and their contact person is based in Nigeria. Then I found this: The site is notorious for installing malware! https://web.archive.org/web/20240701162535/https://futurism.com/chatgpt-fake-virus-warnings Edited March 9 by janea4old

Members Wendy
Damn. I adored Marty Davich's musical score on Days and loved it just as much when he worked on ER in prime time. As a matter of fact, I still have the ER soundtrack on CD (remember those?), and it's still - decades later - sublime. I only wish that Days could have had such a release with the music there. Ever since Marty Davich left there, the cues are, for a better word, uninspired. Practically hollow. Rest in peace, Marty. Thanks for the beautiful music, for both daytime and nighttime.
Members Contessa Donatella
I'm gonna miss him, so much. I just looked him up in imdb. Third Watch, Southland, Port Charles, Beverly Hills 90210. I want to listen to all of his musical cues. Power in Peace, Marty you will be missed. Oh, yeah, I actively hate the music on DAYS now. How the mighty have fallen.
