I don't know how it is in the US, but here the child automatically gets the mother's surname if the parents aren't married unless they specifically request differently. So it would be natural that Hope's name was Logan.

Everything Hope said about Brooke tossing aside everyone, including her children, for Ridge over and over was so spot on. I wished Hope would have stormed out of there instead of those hugs at the end which was like, "Huh?"

I do think AN, HT and KKL did great work here. Soapy, messy, melodramatic, but... good.

That part where Brooke said "I blame you!" I honestly thought she was going to say "I HATE YOU! " for making her lose her twue wuv Widge. Great acting there.

When Brooke was saying she's her daughter and always supported her I would have loved for Hope to say "like Bridget?"

I don't know what Hope is yelling to Brooke about. She got the long end of the stick in life. At least her mother didn't sleep with any of her husbands. (Oliver doesn't count, mama didn't know who that pee-pee belonged to) Just ask Bridget... and she'll tell you if Brooke is capable of prioritizing her children over male genitalia. And sweetheart... don't shame your mother for being a whore... if she wasn't - you wouldn't have been born. Be grateful she f-cked her oldest daughter... your sister's husband.

All of this is written in such a way, that it looks Steffy's win will not last for long. There probably will be some document... a clause somewhere that re-writes this. At this point I don't care.

    • Yes.  I am not capable of telling you what my perfect ending would be for John, but I think it would involve being a hero and taking out Orpheus or even a now alive Stefano or something.  But then they would win.  Idk, it just an impossible circumstance for the writers.  There is no way the John we know would just immediately go help Bo before going to see his family.    I had a similar feeling when John was killed off in a "random" car accident years ago, but that obviously wasn't permanent.
    • When I double-checked with the publicist last night about this, she immediately got Jamey to issue the correction that he posted less than 20 minutes after I contacted her. Drake did not do any new voiceover work for this storyline. Any Drake stuff you hear is flashback audio.
    • Watching the Netflix series The Residence and did not recognize Julian McMahon (Ian Rain on Another World) as the Australian Prime Minister until I looked him up.
    • I just watched yesterday's episode and I liked it!  I didn't think the ATWT reference was cheesy, I really loved it. This was actually the first episode where I enjoyed June, so that's a plus haha.
    • Everything happened too fast with Doug III/Ari. The script literally went from Point A to Point Z in one scene. We should’ve seen Point B, C, D, etc.  I mean, there’s nothing wrong with John dying as a hero to save Bo. It’s just that everything surrounding it seemed to be a problem. John disappearing/Orpheus and the bomb turning out to be nothing, fighting with some random U/5 junkie to get the drug, John getting back to Salem and not seeing Marlena and his family, etc. John Black getting taken out by some random junkie?
    • Agreed, Gail was Monica's mentor, but they didn't have a legally binding relationship. For the record, Gail also had the tightest perm in daytime.
    • Kim Zimmer's son Jake Weary (Luke, ATWT) is starring in Kevin Williamson's new show for Netflix.

    • Was Gail Monica's foster mother? One site said she was Monica's adoptive mother but I'm sure that's wrong.  I sort of remember that the backstory was that Gail was a social worker who had mentored Monica when Monica was a youth, but they didn't have a legal relationship? And then eventually when Monica was an adult, Gail served as mentor, friend, and mother figure to Monica? Kind of an older sister/ best friend ?
    • At least she gets us all to agree on something.  This is a tacky subject for her to continue to weigh in upon.  It also demonstrates her bizarrely impulsive need to “inform” us with unverified gossip from social media that had already been debunked on this forum 13 hours earlier!
    • Absolutely insane that Donna is still here, let alone thinks she should ever say Drake Hogestyn's name again.
