Members Contessa Donatella
But, who does have that Bobbie aspect?!!!
Members DRW50
Sadly, no one. Jackie Zeman had such a special spark about her, even as the last 20-25 years of the character didn't know how to use her. So hard to replace. Sometimes I wonder if the grueling and confusing taping schedule makes that spark very difficult for younger actors to have, compared to some of the '80s or the '90s.

Members janea4old
I disagree. Alexa isn't playing Lulu like AMC Babe at all. Completely different. Alexa's playing Lulu Spencer really strongly, in my opinion. Not flaky at all. Edited 16 hours ago by janea4old
Members ranger1rg
I agree with you. From day one, Alexa owned that part. It's been a seamless recast.
Members AbcNbc247
Gio and Emma Please register in order to view this content They were really sweet and dorky today and I liked that. I'm looking forward to seeing where the two of them go from here. And hopefully, they remain in Trina/Kai's orbit as well. As for Charlotte, she's just as big of a pain in the ass I remember. Too bad she couldn't just go away with her toolbag father. We seriously dodged a bullet with that Jake/Charlotte pairing. And knowing Frank, possibly a Jake/Charlotte/Wyatt teen triangle. They wrote letters. And in some cases, attacked them in public I'm still not sure that she even has a heart
Members ranger1rg
Giovanni Mazza has really come into his own as Gio, and it looks like GH did a good job taking their time with him. He's been really good. The stuff with Emma has been excellent, but GM has also been strong in scenes with Amanda Setton. Eden McCoy has never been able to show warmth and sensitivity as Joss. She can't do it.
Members AbcNbc247
Agreed. Despite how lost the character got in the shuffle between writing teams, he/GM really has found a good place in the show to be right now. I'm impressed.
Members Contessa Donatella
Yeah, that was my point. That is certainly true. I just wish & hope that Frank cares as much about his sets & his block taping schedule as he does for the real talent, his people, the actors, but also the support people & of course, also the crew. I worry about how much stress they are under.
Members Antoyne
I’m actually now looking forward to seeing his relationships evolve with Brook Lynn and Dante. And especially Tracy.
Administrator Toups Posted 12 hours ago Author Administrator Share Posted 12 hours ago Agreed. I say kill off Chase and rid of that family once and for all. I wouldn't mind a Brook Lynn/Dante/Lulu. Amanda Setton was once again really good in Monday's episode - I think this should be her Emmy submission. Would love to see her get nominated for this episode. I'm officially on the Gio/Emma train after today's episode.
Members titan1978
Jackie really brought a passion to her and played Bobbie’s two sides of optimism and also cynicism really well. It is so interesting seeing her in 1978 episodes being really nasty to teenage Laura, and also bubbly and warm as a student nurse in the same episodes. It’s not a basic level schemer, Marland, Monty, and Jackie keep her rootable. I always liked her but I did take for granted just how good Jackie was as Bobbie. The hole in the heart of the show when both she and Genie were undervalued and gone in the 2000’s was noticeable. Joss is no Bobbie, she has too much of her self-righteous mother in her. She is specifically a daughter of Laura Wright’s Carly. Edited 8 hours ago by titan1978
Members Vee
GM has absolutely come into his own; that easy chemistry he began to display at the Q mansion through last year has blossomed further. I do think both he and Braedyn Bruner are really talented (the howls that Robin's daughter would never be a troublemaker fall on deaf ears for me), but I fear they'd both get blanded out stuck together romantically on FV's GH. I would keep them tight as friends and maybe more briefly, but instead play them around with a lot more people and let Gio go off the rails for awhile, and bring on new and more immediately vibrant and fleshed-out younger characters for each of them (and let Gio and Trina have that fling). You can always let Gio and Emma make a go of it for real later on if you choose, but why limit things so quickly? This Alias Joss thing is for the birds. I'd let it implode along with Brennan and write Joss out for awhile. Eden works hard but I just can't do this anymore with this trajectory for the character. She needs a break no matter who is in the role when she returns as a lighter comic schemer, be it Eden or someone else.
