I really loved the scene where Naomi was like "you approached me so if you don't like my opinion, turn and go" and Bill did LMAO!

 

So funny that just yesterday I was asking if Andre was a blood relation and today he helpfully narrates that to Dani like she didn't already know, haha. I guess MVJ has been duly influenced by Brad Bell to already get to some relations boinking in week 1!

Today's episode marks day 2 in the show's world, but it's not the wedding day. Thus, it looks like the show's debut week will take place over three days.

I'm bringing this up because it was previously stated that Y&R's first week was essentially one single day in Genoa City, among other shows that did similarly.

I just skimmed and based on  the outfits, day 2 starts in episode 4... which is similar to BTG actually. Y&R's day 2 starts on Episode 6.

Coming off of Ron Carlivati's Days, it's very, very refreshing to see a child step up and defend their mother like she did today. The tension between her and Bill, and her former friendship with Hayley is a very good dynamic that I hope the show continues to explore.

As green as Derek is, I'm liking him and Ashley together. They're a sweet couple, but they just need some conflict lol hopefully it comes from Andre.

Speaking of Andre... 

I don't mind the quasi-incest (Again, Days lol) I appreciate the messiness that this could lead to, especially if it leads to Bill being jealous on some level. And, I can also see this leading to some kind of scandal, either in the community or in Martin's career or something. Sleeping with your brother in law's nephew could lead to a lot more gossip too 

Btw, Leslie looks so much like Telma Hopkins lol
