New Brennan is good enough to be handler for Joss in the WSB, but the romance with Carly will be dropped.

You regularly crack me up with the way you make your prophetic-seeming predictions. This time I think you're wrong. Jackly will continue, to be the temporary romance it was always meant to be. And, why not, it's been a year since Drew dropped her like she was too hot to handle, at the first sign of Jason.

randomly connecting with the location of a prior pointless character?

in 2023 it was revealed that Cyrus was an old family friend of Austin's (and may have been involved with Austin's mother); that Cyrus paid Austin's way through medical school and both Austin and Austin's cousin Mason worked for Cyrus (TJ ended up recognising Mason as one of his kidnappers from when Cyrus had him kidnapped in 2020). Cyrus blackmailed Austin into testifying that he was fit to be paroled.

Oh, thanks, I had no idea.  Shows you how fascinated I was with those characters, LOL.

In an unprecedented move, Michael Easton in partnership with Roger Howarth are planning a repertory soap where the 2 of them will play all the parts. Tentative title: Frank's Boyz.

Also starring Josh Kelly and Patrick Gibbons

And Gina Tognoni in the occasional female roles.

Breaking news! Jamey Giddens just signed as scribe!

And we'd call this this particular group the "dream team!"

Brennan was testing Joss. If Cyrus killed her than she isn’t WSB material. By killing Cyrus she passed the test.

You have to admit that dying is a tough penalty for failing a test!!!

And Brennan was gobsmacked that Joss brought a gun to her test! I've been watching GH for over 10 years (as it happened, I didn't get into this show until the other ABC soaps were cancelled), and this "test" is the dumbest thing I've ever seen on GH. By far.

No worries.

There was also this whole thing where Ava thought that she'd killed Nikolas by smashing him over the head (after the whole Esme pregnancy drama), but Austin had saved Nikolas' life and Cyrus had had Mason take Nikolas away where he was on life support for months while Austin was cozying up to Ava.

Cyrus may also have been the one to kill Austin.

I remember the part about Ava thinking she'd killed Nikolas after the Esme mess -- but Nikolas' life was secretly saved and he was held somewhere on life support. That much I knew.

But I didn't know who was holding Nikolas.  I guess that was a period where I couldn't watch and only occasionally skimmed recaps.  I was aware that Austin was shady and that Mason was some creepy relative, but I never knew what all that was about.   I had no idea that Cyrus was involved.

So wait ... Cyrus messed with comatose nephew Nikolas *and* comatose niece Lulu?

Ridiculous character.  I'm just glad he's out of Laura's life.

Not talking GH or any others I'm saying I feel some fans have put btg on a pedestal so high that no matter what it dies, it won't be enough for them

I hope you realize that the passion you see here for BTG is not indicative of the makeup of their audience.

I love these boards -- the diverse and crazy opinions, the rumors, the inside-the-weeds stuff -- but most viewers don't care about any of that. Just as X isn't real life, these boards are not real life.

You can already see here that while most of us are high on what's coming and a few are overpraising every little thing, a few people are taking jabs and throwing in a little Debbie Downer shade. That's probably going to continue.

Premiere week will fill dozens of pages of comments on this board, but the truth is that the vast viewing audience doesn't even know we exist.

The last I heard fans who watch soaps & then talk about that online, figure to be about 15%. That's up from 12 which was up from 10. So, statistically we are relevant but JUST, not overwhelmingly so.

New Brennan lacks the OG's charisma.

No Curtis, if you're going to kick Drew out, kick Willow out as well. It takes two to tango, don't just give Willow a pass because she is Michael's wife.

Charles Mesure had his own special brand of charm.

Curtis knew that Drew would take Will-Hoe with him.
