A chore. Which I knew it was going to be, but I had hoped. Nope. lol. It was mostly plot points with (barely) nothing to grab onto. Someone really needs to stop writing in factory settings when he's in charge of the writing. Thankfully, there were at least good moments to get me through it.

I've never been so happy to see Stone Cold. I didn't like how abrupt he was written out of the story. And I still strongly feel he was written out because SB really does not want to play a 'Jason is Sasha's babydaddy' storyline given he's logically done this two times before. So Frank the writers had to find a way to still do their story without Jason coming off a way that will offend. At least I continue to love that we are getting Tracy/Jason scenes. And I loved the close-up of Tracy after Jason left, showing genuine concern for him.

I loved everything Liz/Ric/Ava. Ric flashing that smile at Liz after bringing her flowers. The two of them in the park talking. The slapstick AGAIN (and in a GOOD way) of them running into yet another dramatic situation. Just like their last walk. lol. And then Ava and Ric and their kiss. Just good.

Oh, lord. SHUT UP, KRISTINA. She came across crazy while Ava only came across desperate. But I don't mind seeing where that will go since it seems the Joss/Kristina rivalry is over again.

Cyrus's storyline was C plot, but I take it, it is about to FINALLY kick up a notch given how last week ended. So having it in the background was a good choice. Him spying on Liz. And then him running into Joss. And now Brennan's henchwoman gave her that location. Another piece of the puzzle...

I agree with Tracy. When Carly decides she wants to Carly...WATCH OUT!!!

I liked Trina's hair and seeing her and Ava have scenes. Though I still can't believe how they want Ava to just sit there and stay poor. Just so out of character. I was not feeling her and Kai this episode.

Hypothetic.

The best soap events have multiple and 4 is a great number.

Even though GH entertains me it is one hot mess.

New Brennan and Carly have zero chemistry. They are blah together.

Cyrus looked menacingly at Lucky and Elizabeth, which was hilarious considering he was afraid to file a police report against Jason.

Why in the world would Sasha and Jason confide in Danny with a secret so big?

Tracy hammering pathetic Willow was the best part of today's show.

Oh, and Gio and Dante both have beautiful eyebrows..

Wouldn't it be so nice if Cyrus did actually kill Joss?

I don't mind Jason and Sasha letting Danny in on the secret. It adds another dynamic to this storyline. And considering his reaction to the secret about Cyrus, I'm curious what may happen as a result of this one.

And, Lucky and Liz

I'm 20 minutes into the show and already rolling my eyes.

-- There were 7 scene changes before the open. SEVEN. In under 3 minutes.

-- Kai is the one who confronts Cyrus at the bar to leave? KAI. Are you kidding me?

-- Lulu looks around Bobbie's and decides she belongs there. Minutes later, Joss tosses her apron to Lulu so she can leave with Chase while Lulu handles everything at Bobbie's. Are you kidding me?

Just watched Sophia Mattson as guest on Steve & Bradford's podcast & they hit the highlights of the whole "Torture Sasha" chronology. Are you kidding me? (In speaking about her losing Liam, then Brando, Steve said, "But you got to keep his mother." The way Sophia said, "Yeah, uh, Gladys." was hilarious!!)

I hate Emma. I don't care for the actress.

How long before Danny blabs?

    • He definitely got lost in the shuffle last year. First, they were implying that he was Drew’s son, then he was nothing more than just Violet’s bff

And then they changed him to being Dante and Brook Lynn’s son, which was clunky at first but I’m enjoying the storyline now.
    • GM is adorable, charming and fun onscreen despite months of nothing to do until recently, and has a bodacious bod. I'm not cosigning the show or this story - I haven't watched a full episode in over a month - but I think we're all taking the small victories in 2025 at this point. I'm open to testing this theory!
    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
    • I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes. Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.
    • I've already asked this before, recently, but can anyone who watched those years more closely tell me if anything said about Jessie and Simon at the end of their profiles is accurate (about them marrying, naming a baby after Brandon/Lujack, etc.)?
