Members Antoyne
Sharon was literally sparring with Nikki since she was a teenager, she should never have Phyllis ever get over on her.
Members Taoboi
Amen. Mal Young had his faults, but he did get Sharon back to not backing down to Giggly Heffa.
Members Antoyne
I wish I remembered back then. All of the past writers begin to blur into one.
Members Taoboi
Well it doesn't help that every time someone post a good scene Sony/CBS twitch and have it taken down. I still remember Sharon's threat after the almost-wedding she had with Nick when she found out that they slept together again.
Members Antoyne
I do remember that and I was so pissed they blew up Nick and Sharon again for Phyllis. I don’t care how JM once felt about the pairing, it’s the best pairing for both he and SC and the chemistry is still there 25 years later. I’ve loved how he’s been here for Sharon during all of this.
Members Gemma
This is a link to the eppy. Its source is a VCR and it's not in high quality but definitely watchable.
Members BoldRestless
Thanks! That's pretty good quality compared to a lot of what we have for that year!

Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen when you have snow all around your entrance. -- Why is every Genoa City NYE celebration so mellow and quiet? No one drinks heavily or even enough to feel good, the partiers don't party, and the crowd is so thin at midnight it looks like last call. -- Why was Daniel out at all on NYE? Would the guy really feel like a celebration? -- Since everyone knows the extreme danger Sharon is in, why let her drive to Society alone? -- For the millionth time, why is Newman security so bad?
Members Taoboi
Same. And I agree. But we know I'm Josh Morrow bias. lol. One of the best thing about this storyline has also been that I like how he's been there for her. And it sets Giggly Heffa off.
Members Taoboi
1-2 Well, if Joshua Morrow can play anything well and make it look hot, it's anger. So I'm down for Nick vs Ian. And I definitely love the Mariah flashback. I missed a large chunk of that storyline since I was not a regular viewer than. I do remember the Victor/Mariah reveal and how it took everyone by surprise here, but that's pretty much it. I am loving the focus being on her. I'm not against something happening in the Jack/Diane/Michael/Lauren universe. But there has been so many tries with Jack/Lauren though that I don't really want to get my hopes up. LOL Danny and his pasta!!! He never quits. That said...I love that Danny/Daniel scene. I may hate that Heather appears to be dead, but at least they keep playing the beat about it. And that coda with Sharon. Perfection.
Members janea4old
ABC News announced and Errol confirmed that GH is preempted on Tuesday January 7th. Nothing has been announced for Y&R or B&B. Presumably the Jan 7th GH preemption is for coverage of President Jimmy Carter's body being brought from Atlanta to Washington DC, and a ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda. The following was announced on the spoiler threads, but bringing over here to the nonspoiler thread: *Speculation* that there might be a preemption of the network soaps on Thursday January 9th, for more Jimmy Carter ceremonies? To be announced. Full schedule of Jimmy Carter ceremonies and funerals January 4-9 here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/67963-former-president-jimmy-carter-has-passed/?do=findComment&comment=1982932 Edited January 6 by janea4old
Members Liberty City
Kai Kim is back directing for Y&R. Their last directed episode was September 26, 2017. He's been a camera/video operator at the soap off/on since 2002, with their tenures as: 2002–2010, 2012–2020, and returned to the role in 2023.

Members Liberty City
See, I really like the outfit. It's the new fringe I'm not sure about, though.
Members Taoboi
1-3 OMG!!! The giggly heffa FINALLY admitted that Sharon did not run her off the road. And also...she SAW who did!!!! lol. GOOD. Trifling heffa. I did like the amount of movement going on. Slowly, but surely everyone starting to wonder where Sharon is while everyone reacted to Ian being in town while Sharon is knocked out on a bed. And THAT is the plan? Blame it on Giggly Heffa? Lol. The irony. I thought it was a pretty good week, but I'm looking forward to this new week off of the NEXT WEEK promo and the fact it appeared like it will be a well paced week.
