Members ranger1rg
Those heroes in makeup are working overtime. Wardrobe? Not so much. Dressing characters in black doesn't take much thought.

Members Contessa Donatella
I have a kind of vague awareness that according to "fashion dictates" men in the past several years & currently don't get to have much joy when it comes to color. Supposedly they're meant to be happy with black, gray & navy blue. I think it's a dreadful idea. But, also I am not one to stay up to date with what fashion says should happen, so this could all be totally wrong, like it could be last year? Ain't that just a kick in the pants? Now, Hair, when people like Laura Wright & Becky Herbst who have naturally curly locks have to have it straightened every single day for the sake of - get this - continuity, then, I say Hair, yeah, definitely Heroes.
Members Vee
Why is it every time I catch up on this show BLQ turns up dressed like Biggie Smalls or the Blues Brothers. Enough.

Members carolineg
The way Willow hemmed and hawed over telling Chase he was shooting blanks was hilarious. She was literally acting like he was dying. Is this how she delivers bad news to her actual patients? Everyone knows I think ELR's character is a bootleg, boring, homophobic Brendabot, but I think Eva looks good? It's clear she's had work done in more places than her face, but she looks fine to me. To me, 90's soap stars mostly try to put themselves together well and would never wear, say, Brook Lynn's hideous wardrobe. They have some pride and sense of glamour.
Members Vee
I honestly think the Brendabots ended with Vanessa's contract return in 2010. Claire Walsh was the last one. I think this is just another case of Frank wanting to hire a daytime 'get' and refusing to let them go, and Mo being between viable love interests. So they're trying to make this work, same as Carly and dayplayer Brennan (I'll never stop calling him that). It's pure stopgap work, it's lazy and cheap. I think Eva looks alright, but some angles, lighting and especially her opening shot can make her look very, very rough. I also swear they have kept bronzing her more and more lol Whenever things turn bad with Drew it is time for vengeful widow-in-waiting Willow to prove to Chase that his dick still works, just to screw with the Qs. It's their destiny.
Members carolineg
You're probably right regarding the Brenda bots. Perhaps it's just me projecting how much better Brenda would actually be in this storyline. As for the weird stop gap stuff. Just put Sonny/Natalia and Carly/Brennan together or don't. They aren't interesting and aren't doing anything. Pull the trigger or drop it. It's all a waste of time anyway. To be fair, Eva isn't the only one that looks rough with lighting. Mo never looks good and sometimes Watros looks like she can't shut her eyes they are so puffy.
Members Vee
It's clear they're hedging their bets with those two and seeing if anything catches fire or someone better comes along. It's just incredibly boring to watch. And yes, they've all looked rough at times. Poor Watros sometimes looks like a puppy waiting to open her eyes lol. Speaking of Mo, apropos of nothing I will add that I cringed so hard at Mo's latest attempt to sweep up a new protege in Finn Carr (Rocco) in the State of Mind thread. Quizzing that poor child about seasonal depression and rambling on about mentoring grown-ass Isaiah. Of course now we've barely seen Rocco in a month so Frank has evidently lost interest in him. They could do good work with those kids (and a recast Georgie) with a new teen scene but they can't invest in anything because they still have the show anchored around Sonny, Jason and Carly, all of whom are either tapped dry (Sonny and Jason atm, with the only x-factor for Sonny being Brenda AFAIC) or need a real reset (Carly). And everyone younger than them gets jammed up. It's the same problem we've talked about over and over. You can't angle new story around younger people - at any age tier - when you have to keep feeding that aging beast. Except for Willow and Drew's entertaining madness nothing else is really firing at the A-story level, especially with LNL2's mystery solving capers inexplicably being stuck as a B-story. That's unacceptable, especially for Jonathan Jackson. And Lulu is just roaming atm. But now I'm just rambling on, again!
Members Paul Raven
Exactly the same issue at Y&R where Victor/Newmans and Jack have to be front and center.
Members Vee
Alexa and Jane together are solid gold. I just wish they weren't skimping on Genie, both airtime and story. None of the Spencer characters should be in B-story, and presently they are.
Members Liberty City
It's almost as if they said, "We'll give Genie back her family, but we're going to play them with everyone but her!"
Members Taoboi
I'm playing catch-up and agree cuz her little ponytail on the episode I saw looked cute. I just don't like the propping for Natalia. Hehe at the Brendabot comment. I agree as well. But I've mentioned this especially in regards to Carly and Brennan. Does she even realize and have verbalize to Brennan that she knows he's the one who got her crime to just vanish into the ether? Has he actually told her? One, the other, or both would naturally bring them together. But instead, we get hees, haws, slapsticky situations, but no talks when they had two dinners where they could have put it all on the table. They are long overdue for becoming a couple. They even have his henchwoman...not to mention Sonny AND Sidwell...as potential spoilers before sleeping together.
