Chase, Dante, Anna and Jordan all being on the force (or is Jordan now just deputy mayor?) may be a factor, but the main factor is probably that I just don't think Frank wanted Lucky back. No reason to make any real effort for him.

I think Jason's taken the kids and Monica away from the mansion in collusion with Tracy (and Yuri). He's been suspiciously absent for two whole episodes lol.

Anyway, I enjoyed this episode more than Thursday's but geez will Maxie finally hurry up and tell Lulu about the Bailey scheme with Brook-Lyn. This is the second time when she's been like "Oh I'll tell you all about what happened with Peter August later."

I liked Jordan today too.

She is. Every time they say "Deputy Mayor Ashford" or "Co-Chief of Staff" on this show (and they do it constantly) I have an aneurysm. The fetish for overwrought, awkward job titles is beyond me.

And with Sam dead you could easily slot Lucky in as Spinelli’s new partner. If the bartender gig is leading towards Lucky helping Kristina eventually navigate some mob mess I’m fine with that but these choices feel so uninspired.

I would have rather seen Lucky with Felicia, but Spin is a good choice, too. I also think PI screams his name. He gets to be close to his family AND get to scratch that Spencer adventure itch of his.

As someone else already said, Cody is much more suited to the kind-hearted stable hand than some kind of tortured bad boy. The latter could be interesting but I don't think the show as it is now can write that type of material. I'm not really sure it is suited to Josh Kelly either.

It is fitting that he's Mac's son considering they tried to make him a bad boy as well before realizing their error.

How did Ava get Alexis disbarred? I did like that they explained why she is having money issues. Paying two mortgages can do that
