It was more than a one night stand. Scott and Tracy were involved for most of 1990. It wasn't a serious romantic relationship, but they were essentially lovers and partners in crime while he was working as chief counsel at ELQ after blackmailing Alan with evidence that he helped Lucy get rid of Victor Jerome's body. If I recall, Tracy was trying to find out what evidence Scott had, but the sorta fell into a defacto couple. I also believe that Scott was Tracy's date to Ned and Dawn's wedding as Lee and Gail learn that Scott and Tracy are involved. Scott and Tracy had a pleasant rapport and it was a nice dynamic. They had a nice banter. There was a very loose quad between Tracy / Scotty / Lucy / Alan which ended in the uncredited Gloria Monty period of 1991 when Tracy learned Scott was the father of the baby. I don't even remember if Scott and Tracy "break up," or just stop spending time together.

Earlier in the episode I remarked that we'd just been shown a classic sister fight! But, then they took it another step & it was just too far. I was proud of Molly when she just looked at Kristina disgustedly & said, "We're done. I'm done." And, walked. Kept walking even though she could see & hear Alexis coming over to her.

I kinda get them writing Drew like a sleaze, but why would they want us to hate Kristina? What could be a possible motivation? I mean, beyond the sheer drama of it all.

With Jagger, their reason was that they wanted us to believe Sonny's motivation for killing him. Yeah, right. But, I'm sure that was their intent.

With Drew, I suspect it is to make him interesting rather than pretty dreadfully boring. Ya think? Since he's begun to act so awful I've stopped calling him Drewfus.

Now, I don't think "out of nowhere" will hold up, sorry. Kristina has always, or maybe better to say, for a long while, has been impulsive, more ego-centric, probably selfish, IOW spoiled & also a bit like her narcissist father. But, the level they took it before was more benign. Now, it is way out of bounds!! Before Kristina may have been obnoxious. Now she's downright scary. And, this is coming from a major Kristina apologist!

Lord...

hahahhahaha

Awwww...just like my nieces.

Me? No. lol.

I'm just glad to hear him pop up. He has not appeared at all since that scene with Lucas in the locker room that Carly interrupted. And that was what? two/three/a month ago? I don't mind a couple slowly making their way back to each other...especially if that scene is a sign that Carly would be a spoiler if Brad and Lucas get back together. Carly soooo needs something to do and one thing that LW can do that is in character for Carly is scheming.

I'm down for TJ in gym clothes cuz BUBBLE. Can't wait.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
