Nothing special about that scene at all. Honestly, I'm inured to these goodbye scenes on GH at this point. It's become The Death Show. It's bad enough when GH actors die, but when you add all these storyline killings on top of it? Too much.

It's hard to feel anything when you've started a Death-of-the-Month Club.

I just saw the episode where it revealed that Cyrus killed Sam. Why would he do that? Whats the motive? Also why was he monitoring Lulu?

And does this now count as Kelly Monaco's last airdate? I didnt think we'd actually see her. I thought they'd just show the body and a nametag, but we saw Sam. I wonder if all that hoopla surrounding her exit was just a stunt and she's still with GH in some capacity. Even if she isnt playing Sam, it could be interesting seeing her reprise Livvie. The way GH handled her was sloppy, confusing and ambgious

Also I was wondering where Laura's other brother was and then it pops up. It sounded like he finally ditched that accent but then MEK started to sorta speak with it again.  It sounds horrible and doesnt even sound real. He sounds like a comedien doing a caricatur

IMO Cyrus has a bent way of thinking & it applies extra to any female he is related to. I think he killed Sam to make way for Lulu to get back with Dante. Thank god Laura finally put a peace bond on him.

That is not happening.

I thought GH was really good again today but what I want to post is this fan video.

Today was a good one… for reasons that I’ve already let y’all know about. Can’t help but wonder what William Lipton is thinking right now

I’m still enjoying the fallout from the Drew/Willow reveal, even though I don’t really agree with Tracy and Ned being the bad guys. It just doesn’t seem necessary. There were a lot of messy choices in this storyline but the bare bones of it have been really good so far.

Thankfully, Tracy’s reunion with Lulu cancelled a lot of the bad out lol it was great seeing the two of them together again.

And even Michael had a bit of a backbone with Carly today. I was impressed.

I hate to burst your bubble but I really bet he could care less.

I'm there but the only bad person I'm seeing is Drew, but I still say they made him much more interesting. Nina might quality also for bad guy. The looks on her face & her tone of voice, I was afraid she was scaring Amelia.

I know Michael did the right thing & is the better man but his remembering when it happened to him & Morgan when they were children was heart-breaking, but a good use of history.

Tracy & Lulu finally together! It was magical. I liked it so much.

Of course I also loved Jason with Joss but you wouldn't.

Jane Elliot is just fantastic. To go from sniping at Drew to that genuine warm excitement over seeing Lulu was flawless. What wonderful scenes. You’d never know AB never played Lulu.

Absolutely loving all the Drew and Willow fall out. Poor Nina she gets to be there for Willow right now with the ticking  time bomb that she was also sleeping with Drew.

Carly was in full mama bear mode. You can definitely tell it’s LW’s favorite way to play Carly.

@Antoyne cosigning that Lulu and Tracy’s reunion and Carly vs Nina and Willow were the highlights of the episode for me.

AH and JE had instant chemistry and mind melded me into believing I was back in 2006 watching Tracy and Lulu connecting again. This and Rocco were definitely my favorite of Lulu’s reunions thus far.

This might be the first time since I’ve tuned back in that Carly actually feels authentic in scorched earth mode too, loved her vs Nina and Willow with the kids awkwardly in the middle.

I still think the show has done itself a huge disservice not allowing Michael to stand in his own anger and vengeance. The explanation of him not wanting to traumatize his and Willow’s kids the same way Carly and Sonny did him and Morgan by constantly fighting over custody worked for me but only because I watched during that era. They could have at least let him rage out on Drew but we didn’t even get that, thank God Tracy and Ned got some good digs in at least.

Eden McCoy, Kristina Wagner and Finola Hughes did nice work reacting to Dex’s death but I was just never invested in the character enough so it all rang flat for me. I did like Jason being there for Joss though.

I do love Lucky supporting Liz in the aftermath but I had to laugh at the ridiculousness of Portia letting him sit in on a serious HR meeting, that would never happen IRL.

I don't like how they are implying that Felicia could be Cyrus's next victim

If they want to kill off a vet for shock value, they should kill off Olivia. It would give Ned and Lois story, and push Dante more to the dark side

Awww at seeing Dex, Joss, Gio, and Trina together in the tree lot. Woulda coulda shoulda. lol.

I had seen little things about the Liz/Lucky scenes. So I was not sure what I expected. Or how I would feel. But...I find my feelings mixed. It just seem like such a meet-cute. And when said meet-cute did not feel forced...which is how I liked meet-cutes...it really holds up and draws you in. JJ and RH are just so prefect together at points so it's funny to watch them dance around each other. And the scene with Lucky singing intercut with the flashback was sooo well done. But...perhaps it's just the fact that it's not my favorite pairing of Liz's that is on the current canvas. But I can be seduced into it. In any case, I love all this screen time for Elizabeth on my TV.

FRAK YOU, KRISTINA! So you feel nothing about throwing that rude comment in Molly's face. Alright...I won't feel bad when Molly FINALLY slaps her in the face. And I liked that Molly put Alexis in check. Kristina wants to start again, when they should be putting their differences aside due to Sam's death...well...as another brunette with great hair used to say...GAME ON.

Lulu as the C plot = meh. I would rather see Laura with HER DAUGHTER, but I still did like that Laura was talking out her feelings. And I see Martin has his accent back.

And so...the rumor IS true. Cyrus killed Sam. So he's Dead Man Walking. And I guess we know why Dex is on his way out the door...

    • Beverlee was on a whole other level from Kim. It's not like they were in competition with each other. I get the feeling that Kim had a slight problem with the super-professional, serious cast members who just wanted everyone to be prepared and do the work, as she seems to like having fun on set. (She's made a few cracks about Chris Bernau being like that). Bev was definitely one of those. But they didn't work together that much. Yeah, they made her manic and also much weaker. She always had a vulnerability, but wanting to kill herself over that guy? No way. Not only that, he didn't leave her! She insisted he marry Maeve. When they did the tribute to Bert/Charita, the compilation of scenes with her showed how much the cast had been almost totally turned over in a relatively short period of time. Nearly every shot was of her by herself because most people she had worked with had been fired, left or been replaced. I assume they couldn't show her with people who hadn't been replaced, like Don Stewart, Elvera Roussel, or Robert Newman because they would have had to pay them for using their clips. It's dreadful to watch. Like she had no connection to the current show.

    • A little too much focus on Chad and Cat today but I enjoyed the episode. I have a feeling that Jennifer’s gonna get dumped on though, even though I think that her anger is completely understandable and justified. And honestly, Ron is finally gone; Abigail can come back now.  But, welcome back, Anna! It was nice seeing Carrie have scenes with her mother. Christie Clark and Leann Hunley have never really had that many scenes together and to see them have them now is really nice. I’m glad that both of them were there to comfort Marlena too. Their words were definitely the thing that Marlena needed to hear. Btw, with all this talk of Noah, does it mean that he’s gonna be introduced soon? Amy, revealing that John changed her flat tire many years ago seemed a little random though. I would rather she have said something about how everybody in Salem knows of John Black because of how he was always such a hero. But at the same time, her story also showed what a great guy John was.  I liked Kate’s scenes with Philip too, and her promise to get back at Xander for what he did. And since we didn’t see JPL in the bed, did he need some time off or something? And yeah, everything involving ‘One Stormy Night’ still seems very Ron-like to me.
    • The second photo featuring the late John Spencer is from the Law & Order episode, "Prescription For Death", which was the (second) pilot/first episode all the way back in 1990! He played the father of a daughter that had gone to the ER for a mere sore throat but ended up dead because the doctor on call was drunk and had given her medication that she had an adverse reaction to, after receiving some other medication. So, he will always have that great distinction in addition to The West Wing. (The first pilot, "Everybody's Favorite Bagman", was filmed in 1988! The show was offered to CBS, but they passed. In syndication, it is oddly placed as the sixth episode of Season 1. And Roy Thinnes played DA Alfred Wentworth there. When NBC picked up the show two years later, Thinnes declined to return, and that's how we got Steven Hill's DA Adam Schiff.)
    • exactly. I can understand schadenfreude if it were real, but a lot of this is just an engineered distraction.
    • Days of our Lives S60E204 – Thursday, June 5, 2025 Okay, today’s episode was kind of boring. It was nice seeing Jack and Jen back, but they wasted an entire episode on Jen chatting with Julie - one scene would’ve been enough. Also, why didn’t Jack and Jen go comfort Marlena? And wouldn’t a flashback with Jack, Jen, and John have been great? Maybe something from the Cruise of Deception era? Bottom line - it feels like once John’s memorial is over and the returning fan favorites leave Salem… the show’s going to be dull again.
    • Everything with Elon and Trump is a stunt. If people, and the sycophantic press, are talking about their "feud," they are not talking about Republican plans to gut Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA.
    • I can't fully remember, but I don't think they tried to get Beth Chamberlin back. I think Laibson/McTavish likely saw Beth as old news and wanted to move Philip on; either that or have her return only when Philip was closely tied to a new woman. Thanks as always for these recaps. I think I had stopped watching around this time and mostly kept up by reading in the soap magazines. Bridget's degradation was horrible to watch, as the character had grown so much over the years and was clearly regressed just to be a foil for a "hot" couple viewers had zero investment in.
    • Having the majority of the cast on those low numbers is no way to tell story. And just 2 dayplayers for the month. So sad for the #1 soap.
