No one wants it.

I also think that's the smart play, though I think it's too late for the Blake/Ross/Holly (probably inverted) triangle Mulcahey was going to do. I think Who Killed Drew needs to end in Willow doing it (and probably framing Nina).

I see no reason to keep Sasha, Willow or their kids around. The Sasha Scorpio story has been insanely unpopular and she is a deeply boring character.

Count me as a fan of Sasha Scorpio.

Well now looking at the main article if it isn't going to be Robert Adamson, then it's a good idea to rest Michael...have him go aboard to the international ELQ branch like they have characters do on B&B and Y&R when they write out their major characters. And then after awhile, bring him back with an actor of your preference.

Heck, given this is coming out now...it makes me wonder if all this mess with him, Sasha, Willow, Drew...is because CD is leaving by end of year at the earliest or this coming January ahead of February Sweeps.

My initial thought upon reading the news: "Well, Christmas came early for @Vee!"

But seriously.  I didn't like watching Chad Duell at the start, and I definitely didn't like watching him as he grew less and less enchanted with playing Michael either.  If they recast Michael and bring him back down the road, fine; but, for the moment, I'm not sorry to see him go.

Duell's been checked out for a while. Even when he's gt juicy material (rare as it is), the passion just isn't there. 14 years is a long time in soaps to be in one role, and I'm glad he's got priorities, beards, what have you. In the meantime, too bad it's not Wallow, but...

Drew & Tree can go to wherever he needs to be as a Senator. Saescher & Michael can go somewhere else.

Or maybe Sasha somehow ends up becoming a victim of Sidwell's and with her gone Michael won't have to worry about a baby anymore. Better yet Robert and Holly won't have anything to connect them together either.

I would be totally fine with Nina getting shipped off to prison for the rest of her life for a murder that Willow committed and no one else would be the wiser. The real truth can just fade into obscurity just like Austin's murder and by the time that it actually comes out, Nina would have already died in prison. Drew and Willow can also move away to Washington, D.C. with her and Michael's kids so that Drew can serve his term as Congressman, never to be seen or heard from again.

Why oh why can't Michael just go poof like the way Selena and Phyliss did.

I'll fast forward it, I don't want to see it!!

It's just a device, a way to get Chad offscreen for awhile. Think about the way they faked Holly's death with a fire a year or so ago. And, they get to do their thing with special effects. So far at least I think it's been interesting. The somersault was really something.

What I want to know is how did Sidwell get a bomb into Sonny's place without getting caught.

Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos): Fans have known this day was coming since Daytime Emmy-winner Duell announced in November 2024 that he had decided to exit the show: barring a last-minute preemption, the actor puts in his last GH appearance on Tuesday, January 21.

Will miss him as Michael and while Valentini [supposedly] hates hiring pinch-hitters full-time, I'd love to see Robert Adamson return later this year/beginning of next.

Bye!

They should wait and get a much stronger recast. But knowing Frank he'll keep it open for Chad too long.

Thank you for the information.

An end of an era given how much story Michael used to drive with his very presence.
