I will never forget that scene with Xander-Phillip-Victor and Xander thinking he finally got the goods on him and Victor forgiving Phillip. 
 

But I do think they have something more in store for JPL’s Phillip. I bet he will try to backstab Vivian but ofc it’s Phillip. He will fail. They always wrote Phillip as a loser  wish he would finally be worthy and building the next Kiriakis generation 

So then it’s Ron. He doesn’t seem to “get” the character of Philip and just writes out of character stuff for him.

I would be down for him double crossing Vivian though. That would be a pretty good and interesting twist.

Not that Kate is dumb, but if she could figure out that the letter from Victor was fake in two seconds, how is that going to hold up in court?

I was also surprised to realize that Philip knew the letter was fake.

Considering that the last time Vivian was in town, she left a bomb in the mansion. And the time before that, she shot Dimitri.  Shouldn't she be keeping a lower profile?

I’m actually surprised that Tate admitted to Holly that he was with Sophia last night. And that Holly seemed so okay with it, even though she and Tate were broken up. I expected her to go nuts lol I hope they don’t take away Holly’s messiness, at least not yet. It could be used to drive story for a while. Tate being messy can do the same as well. 

I’m still Team Sophia though. She’s been given a lot more depth lately and I like that. That tells me that Sophia is gonna be in it for the long haul and is not just gonna be reduced to a psycho like Jan. And, I like that they’re continuing to build up a friendship with Ava. I’m also wondering if they’re going to cast Sophia’s mother any time soon. 

Hopefully, we get some follow up with Sophia/Tate/Holly tomorrow. 

Philip/Xander was ok today but it could have been a lot better. The campiness messed it up again. I’m curious as to whether it’s a choice by JPL or he’s just receiving poor directing/writing. Kate/Vivian was good as well and I like that Kate seems torn between joining up with her and Philip or ratting them out. 

And yeah, I still think it’s time to end Brady/Kristen for good, despite the family bonding with Rachel today

In defense of Tate, why should he tell Holly about him and Sophia's intimate business?  They broke up.  He said he was with Sophia last night-that's enough.  I know it's going to be Tate's lie by omission and cause drama with Holly/Tate's love, but IMO Tate was right not to blab about it to Holly.  She would have freaked out and immediately slut shamed Sophia.

It was also that annoying only-on-a-soap conversation where he wanted to tell her, but she kept interrupting him.  So, later, he can't defend himself by saying that he wanted to tell her, but she wouldn't shut up.

Also, why is there so much focus on the idea that Sofia was a virgin, but nothing about if this was Tate's first sexual experience?

Tate was a virgin.  He told Holly that at the Horton Cabin.

On paper, now would be a good time for someone, I have no idea who, to actively pursue Kristen romantically eventually leaving her conflicted/confused if fighting for Brady is what she still wants or if she's just doing it because of Rachel.

Based on who’s currently on the canvas, I think Alex would be in the best position to do that.

She dropped Alex like a hot potato, and given that he's the only guy who she's never been obsessed with, it doesn't bode well for their future.

Has anyone told Ava that Clyde escaped from prison?  Given that she almost shot him the last time that they saw each other, it seems like she might be in danger.
