@Maxim Yeah, the Taylor/Ridge/Brooke triangle has played out. However, with RB as Taylee, I'm hopeful that Brad will reunite Taylor/Ridge permanently. Contrast TK's Taylee scenes with Brooke's and it's obvious.

Time for a Brooke scandal (Liam) and then $B *rescues* her.

The show is really weak right now - all the Liam/Hope scenes are cringe. I feel bad for SC because he can't be enjoying this.

Hope/Carter feels like it was a last minute idea inserted into the show. Seriously, after working with Hope for almost a decade, now he notices her?

What in the world!!! As a spiritual person, I don't know whether to laugh or be offended. Is THIS what Brad had in mind bringing Taylor back? Just to embarrass her over and over again? What mess is this??? 

 

I did enjoy Carter and Hope circling each other with no one the wiser. And awwww at Liam trying to get Hope back...complete with flashbacks. And now that he got a hint that she might be interested in someone else...I wonder if he is going to try to find out who it is.

Carter now wants to give Hope... the biggest... spotlight we can give it... Sure. 

-- Carter ripping off his shirt and coming on to Hope could not have looked any more awkward. Whatever that was, it didn't work.

-- The Will and Liam conversations are already lame in the same way Liam's conversations with Wyatt were. They don't look real, they don't seem genuine.

Sadly... I think Will... will be gone in less than a year. Maybe before he is gone, Bradley will turn him into a serial killer or a rapist. Who knows... I really don't understand why bring a new character... if you have no idea what to do with him! They are giving him material that makes him look like he is a character... going out... and not... a new fresh face. Boring, boring, boring. And yes, not genuine. They repeat the same things over and over again. 

And for the Hope/Carter fiasco... I am also in complete agreement - it looked strange and cringe. Hope... at this point... is even more pathetic than Brooke ever was. At least Brooke had goals and that was to sleep with an entire gene pool first... and then when she was finished with that... to sleep with her daughters/sisters's men. Hope... is doing stupid random things. She has been crazy in love with Thomas, Finn... and now starting something with Carter... in less than a year. All of this is making her look disoriented, stupid and... pathetic.

And I want to add something... Steffy is once again standing before Ridge like a Doberman guard dog that is guarding her sh-t. She is once again repeating the boring things about My mother this... My father that... and looking at Brooke like she wants to push her down the stairs. I have to pinch myself that we are BACK in 2021-2022 and this is once again being microwaved back to life by Bradley. This stale... old... storyline.

Thursday/Friday reaffirmed that Carter is in a position of power. Hope has professed her gratitude to Carter multiple times and it's borderline creepy. Steffy and Brooke both noted that he went out of his way to advocate for HFTF.

At least, my proposed twist above would make this interesting. When Hope sleeps with Liam for old times sake, will Carter continuing being the Beta? Wouldn't it be great if LSV got the chance to show Carter's bad side after Myron, Quinn, Katie, etc. It's time he finally turned into an Alpha.

I admit that that was adorable what Liam did for Hope. A well-done presentation for her line. And it is almost nice to see him try again with the kiss. But do we really want a Liam/Hope/Carter triangle? I do like the build on Hope/Carter though with the near misses.

 

I hope this is the conclusion (at least for now) to that heart syndrome storyline. Silly and not in a good way. But...at least everyone seems to know or no one who would be upset for a secret being hid now know. 

 

And you can't go wrong with a shirtless Finn. 

Line of the year:

Brooke: “For your information, I’ve had a broken heart many, many times and nobody ever called it a syndrome!”

If HT had been playing Taylor, you know the response would've been: 'Definitely not a syndrome, Brooke. It's called sex addiction!'

So Hope rips off Carter's shirt, passionately paws him, slobbering him with kisses -- and then pulls back and says "I'm just not ready"?

Talk about being a c-teaser. Girl is for the streets.

It's so funny how the main story has gone from Brooke/Ridge/Taylee (thank God) to Carter/Hope. And I didn't mind it at all. Moreso when Carter's shirt came off like a piece of paper being blown in a gale of wind.  And it was good to see his apartment again. One thing I can say about B&B, I never feel like they are short on sets.

 

I liked the 'Will is working at Forrester' story was just a nice bonding moment between Will and Bill and not drama. Cuz if anyone would understand his reason for interning there (GIRLS) it would be the Stallion. lol. I am only sad at the clip for next(this) week because Will already has some sparks with some of the girl interns he has run into *cough*Amy*cough* 

 

I do love that Hope/Carter is happening under everyone's nose. More importantly, seeing it ON SCREEN. It makes it more organic. 

 

A decent week post-Wednesday.

I don't trust this show. They'd take it a step too far and he'll be outta here like Justin. Or Luna.
