Guys, I am living in Germany and if I made the mistake of opening this magnet link, I could get in trouble for downloading. Torrenting copyright protected material is considered a crime in Germany and many other countries. Torrents are heavily watched over companies that hire legal teams who have people who list every new torrent and record the IP addresses. I am not saying you'll get in trouble for downloading Young and Restless on a torrent, but you may. I know people who have had for torrenting series before.

So all I'm saying is... please if it's possible, don't post these links in public. Someone may open them by mistake, and since many people have add-ons that they don't even realize they have (myself included) the torrent can get started with just 1 click. This can get you in trouble. I don't want to start an issue, just trying to protect you guys. No magnet links or torrent links posted in public please. That's just my advice. You can choose to ignore it. I mean no harm.

Anyone notice SC crack a slight smile when MS was going all Phyllis dramatic mocking everyone being worried about poor Sharon.

I will say that killing Heather was not where I expected this story to go. I like VB, but Heather isn't really needed. I'm waiting for Lily to comfort Daniel. That's still the end game for me.

Sharon "killing" Heather is the most interesting storyline Griffith has written since coming back.  And I actually like ghost-Cameron's return.  Sharon and Linden play well off each other.  The actress that plays Lucy is pretty good for a teenager.  I could see her improving as she gets older.

I feel like writing a “hook” is one of Josh Griffith's strengths.  For example, Diane's surprise return with Jack's granddaughter, Tucker crashing the wedding in a helicopter, the mystery surrounding Jeremy Stark, and Tucker's return without Ashley from their honeymoon.  The problem has been sticking the landing to end the story and transition into new tales.

I agree. Those were all good hooks with potential. It's a shame (outside of Diane now being a matriarch at the moment) that they been mostly wasted.

Allie is gone when she should be around mixing it up with Audra or someone else or even a disagreement with Kyle that sparks a new family feud.

Tucker is nowhere in sight. Just mentioned here and there.

Stark is dead when he should have been in a scheme team with Giggly Heffa who he had chemistry with.

Ashley...TBD. And IMHO, while the story was silly in parts, that was the most interesting Y&R has been with JG back writing. And even every story surrounding that period of time was energized as if JG finally got inspired to have a writing rhythm...not just over one story, but ALL of them.

The problem with Y&R, it has an abundance of potential that is squandered at every turn. JG should not be the sole showrunner. He definitely has his moments where the show is watchable but for the most part it's boring. What is the long-term story??? Why does every story feel like an "arc" or a wait and see approach to see what sticks???

CBS Daytime needs to have Y&R and B&B in much better shape to launch Behind The Gates successfully. I think it can be done but both shows need behind the scenes changes ASAP

CBS can only do so much; production is in the hands of Bell Dramatic Serial Company & Sony Pictures Television, and considering the CBS Daytime division as it was once is pretty much.... done, I doubt someone at CBS is going to care as much. And so long as Steve Kent is involved a major change will not be happening.

Reviewing the week from hell that was…

Okay, I’ve been avoiding the main story of Sharon but…well I do have to give kudos to SC, Graz, and Ashby for selling such a twisted tale as actors. Because that’s the best thing working here as much as I despise the overall insane idea here of crazy Sharon killing Heather and framing Daniel for it.

What’s interesting is also how here again how this Sharon story is so isolated from the rest of the show at the moment lol. The day it wasn’t on it was business as usual lol.

As usual @Taoboi the highlight of the week for me was definitely Audra and Diane!!

I like to think this is only a temporary setback for Audra and that here the next couple weeks she’s about to swiftly kick Kyle in the pants and send him straight back to man child status lol. Or at least be her errand boy again

Diane showing off a more edgy groove should be fun but we’ll see where this goes. We were long overdue for those scenes of them together and I want more.

And I love that Chance is all the case here FINALLY get proper utilization of CF’s talents.

Phyllis was the lowlight of the week, too bad Sharon didn’t off her instead lol.

    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).

    • I did some research and the story wrapped up with Eric,a caretaker responsible for Georgina's death who then  tried to do away with Laurie but a vision of Georgina spooked him and he smashed into a mirror, dying of glass wounds. So there was a supernatural element. I wonder if the Brody character in the credits was Eric Brody?
