Vail sort of confirms it ... but it's tvinsider, not SOD.
(Stephanie Sloane works for tvinsider, she left SOD when the print magazine shut down.)

I read it at SOD. Sounds confirmed to me. Of course she did say the obligatory "if enough people want me back, maybe they'll change their minds". rme

Despite her “body” being found I’m going assume in other words she’ll be back for November sweeps or reunite with Daniel by Christmas after reading that twice. 

Heather isn’t missing any toes is she @Maxim? 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe she had webbed feet? 🙈

LOL. Daniel identifies her body in the morgue tomorrow. Hope they don't bring her back as a ghost of any kind. I thought I read she was done filming a few weeks ago.

Speaking of toes, this could have been a Sheila plot, since Heather is/was the mother figure for Sheila's biological granddaughter Lucy.
But I hope it's not that!  I don't want to see Sheila.

Sheila/Kimberlin would certainly be a “break in case of emergency” type of return, since they’ve avoided going back to that well for 18 years (at least on Y&R). While I’d be curious about how she’d interact with Stafford, et al, B&B has largely wrung that character beyond dry, and I can’t imagine Y&R would handle her much better than B&B has. It would just be a different kind of “bad.”

I agree, although, I'd much have preferred Sheila be written by Mal Young over Josh Griffith.

Looks like Paul will have a heart attack in Lisbon and be unable to travel for Heather's funeral. Silly people thinking they might have given us a glimpse of DD/Paul. I knew it would never happen.

Just kill Paul off while we’re at it tbh. His kids are dead or wherever Dylan is and no one wants to deal with Doug Davidson. So just kill him off.

Well now that Heather is gone, Paul is just another past character- an ex of Lauren and Christine. Kind of like Cole was until they bizarrely decided to resurrect his daughter.

Paul doesn't need to be referenced again.

Pity how it all turned out.
