Remember this well. now, grasshopper. Anna is Robin's mother. Robin & Jason were together a long time ago, a very special time. Robin was the first person to sorta accept Jason Morgan not Jason Quartermaine. Then Sonny accepted him. Carly did not know the Qs from squat & she accepted him unconditionally from the first moment. ANNA is very protective of Robin's friends & exes. Also that makes Jason a contemporary of her daughter, not hers. 

Plus, Jason was VERY clear. He wants to work again with Anna. Friends, yes, would be okay. But, that's it. Anna could not even commit to that.

Not sure if i'm  Grasshopper? Been watching since 86. I loved Jason/Robin. My point was it shouldn't happen. I love Jason and support any couple he's in but not Anna. IMO Anna thinks she can save Jason.

My Uncle is a Pastor and did Missions in Africa. Paying kidnappers is just like paying a parking meter in Canada/USA.

Okay, so you're not grasshopper. I don't mind a bit. I was just having some fun. I so do agree about Anna. 

I said elsewhere that those "diamonds" looked like gray plastic blobs. I wondered if Stillwell is into Blood Diamonds. Or were those just supposed to be industrial diamonds.

Understand now your POV about paying kidnappers. BTW you don't always have to bury the lead.

I think they want Ava to be against characters they don't like, but they don't want her to be called out or to lose her few friendships. The way they chose to return Ava to being a pariah wasn't the best idea either, as it was all through Sonny, and through a confusingly told plotline that was seemingly going to just end in a way satisfying no one.

Rick Hearst has been in daytime for 35 years, but he's almost never been a lead. The closest he came was his last year on GL.

He was pretty much a lead in the story with Blake/Eleni/Frank. But then again, the show was such an ensemble at that point that there were a lot of shared leads as various stories progressed. He was a lead in that story, but not in the same way lets say Zaslow or McKinsey was on the show overall at the same time.

I felt like he was a heel in that storyline rather than a lead - he moved story for other characters. He's played that part for most of his daytime run.
