At this point she should look and act as old as Ruth Martin in the 90s? Lucinda Walsh in the late 90s? Holly Norris in the 00s? Brooke English in AMC 2.0? Now everyone looks like a Real Housewife whether they are 35, 45 or 65. That's why the shows don't have any decent matriarchs. The actresses want to look 35 and the characters act 25. The writers refuse to treat their veterans as older people. Look at Nick and Sharon on Y&R. Come to think about it, this crazy recast makes sense in a rather sad way.
