Don't look at me. I stopped watching regularly in 2015 until earlier this year (and have since stopped). All I know is that Nina gave birth in her coma(?), I think, to what she thought was one child but turned out to be twins.

I believe they knew in Stafford's early days she had been pregnant but assumed she'd lost it when she ODed on pills after finding out about Silas' affair with Ava (which I think Donna Mills masterminded), and went into her decades-long coma. That's why I suspected from the beginning that RC had intended Kiki to actually be Nina's - Donna Mills/Madeline was willing to risk Nina's life to keep her from having Silas' child, as she hated Silas. I assumed Madeline had passed the child off to Ava to keep Silas out of her daughter's life.

Regardless, the saga of Nina's long-lost child/children went on for around a decade and I've never cared in the slightest, except for when it resulted in the Nina/Drew/Willow triangle which I've lost interest in with PM gone.

I am not going to come out here calling Kate Mansi the c-word for people on the Internet being crazy. A lot of Soap Twitter is weird as hell. They act like all these mid couples and characters on GH now are super popular.

Ha!  You gave a much better explanation than I could have.  Mine would have been

and I have no idea how one kid ended up with Carly's adoptive family and got a kidney bought by Jax and the other ended up in a cult.

Kiki being Nina's would have made a hell of a lot more sense.

I can't remember a single thing about Silas except Michael Easton.  He's related to Vampire Clay, but is he related to Finn?

I don't know either nor care.

Not to my knowledge. And yes, AFAIK Kristina has been bi for years. Anyone complaining about Mansi reminding them of that because they weren't watching before mid couple #300 can dip.

I think it was also planned to cement both Stafford and Ron and Frank's beloved Kristen Alderson (before Kristen asked for a modest pay bump that is, lol). Remember, at that time Stafford was ascendant on the show as a new lead and they were pairing her with Roger and pushing the Franco/Kiki-Todd/Starr repetition hard. They kept on doing it with the three of them as a kind of loose family unit after Passanante took over while Hayley Erin was in the role for awhile. But I just never cared about any of them.

You know I can remember something that happened in 1995 on GH clearly.  I watched the show fairly regularly during this period and it's like I remember none of it.  That's speaks to the quality of that era lol.  The Kiki, Nina, Howarth, and Easton's all blend in to me.

That's my understanding, allegedly. She wanted a pay bump and FV either froze her out or tried to get her to take a cut, and then it was byebye. I assume his paternal affections had shifted in full to Nicolas Bechtel.

I understand why Kate Mansi feels the need to defend herself, but actors just need to stay off social media unless it's curated photos of themselves on Instagram with the comments shut down.

I do understand why people feel offended how this story was handled but it's not a great idea to trust a soap on this topic.

I'm also way of the idea of Kristina being "turned straight," although I wouldn't be surprised if the show just puts her with men from now on.

    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
