Members Soapsuds
I forget Dimitri is gay. That makes 5 not the quad I mentioned earlier. I discussed earlier the type of love story I'd write for Dimitri and Andrew. But Ron was too busy writing for his bitchy alter Leo. I firmly believe Leo is Ron Carlivati. I'd be interested in seeing Mark and Andrew onscreen together. Edited July 24, 2024 by Soapsuds
Members AbcNbc247
I’d love a quad too, but with Chandler Massey and Christopher Sean not wanting to do full time, I figured that Andrew would be the next best thing for the new writers to write for… after Leo is killed off Please register in order to view this content
Members Bright Eyes
In addition to this hopefully being the end of Leo, in connection with wanting the show to not be written as a joke, I also hope we never have to see Rolf again either. We haven't seen him since November, but it's always a scary time when it comes to Halloween to see what stupidity Carlivati will force upon us.
Members Antoyne
Daniel Jonas was pretty hated despite the show constantly propping him. As for my wishes. Kill off Leo. Immediately. Permanently. And no character grieves or mourns. Bring back Jack, Jennifer, AND JJ. I actually have no issue with the amount of DiMeras, but I would use Tony and Anna more as the heads of the family. Honestly just make it feel like a serious show again and not something we’re supposed to laugh at. Edited July 30, 2024 by Antoyne
Members Khan
Amen! Humor and comedy on soaps are fine, but only to counterbalance the heavier, more serious goings-on.
Members Antoyne
RC never learned that and truly thought the whole show should be one long comedy with a sprinkle of seriousness.
Members Michael
Humor is great! Especially when it reveals something about the characters. But it stops being effective when it points out issues in the writing or production, or mocks the stakes of a story, or takes the audience completely out of the situation at hand.
Members AbcNbc247
The constant use of humor doesn’t help either. The joke may be funny the first time, but by the 475th time, it just isn’t anymore.
