At this point I suppose it wouldn't be a huge shock if they decided to "solve" the Jason harem situation by pairing him with Britt again, but that's probably another year or two off (if Burton is still there or if the show is still on).

Honestly, I seem unable to list the GH kids without leaving someone off! Most of the time I forget Bailey Lou. Often I have omitted the Millow family entirely.

One of the reasons Kelly T went to England when she left was because of a boyfriend there, so maybe that romance has soured. When she began to post that she was on her way to the West Coast, it looked very much like wanting to get back on the show.

I believe the Bailey story was yet another attempt to keep Wes Ramsey/Peter August, one of the least popular leads ever, on the show for another couple years.

Maxie shouldn't have two kids, let alone three. At least Georgie is an oops baby. But Kirsten is wearing the whole modern Maxie character sketch a bit better now as she seems much more refreshed and energized onscreen, the writing for her has improved by leaps and bounds since PM and co. arrived (and since quit), and now for the first time I can actually mostly buy that Maxie has grown into a capable businesswoman. I still don't buy her having three kids, but I rationalize it by noting how much time Mac, Felicia and yes, Spinelli still spend raising them in addition to Maxie finally doing a notable share herself.

There are way too many kids on the show, as I've said before, and as I've said before I'd def murder 2-3. No regrets!

I don't know if you ever seen this scene between Maxie and Mac at Naxie's wedding but it was a beautiful well done thought out scene rooted in history, unconditional love and support. It was there father and daughter dance and they talked about him being her father and it didn't matter what she called him he was always there for her

This was before GH started acting like he was just some run of the mill step father and didn't raise her this year.

I blame the strike for that last year. But tbh Ron Carlivati toyed with it too early on in the 2010s, because he was clearly starstruck by the idea of reuniting Frisco and Felicia for the 50th anniversary. This fell on its face when Jack Wagner came back, clashed with FV/RC and phoned it in onscreen.

    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
    • I know that Secret Storm had moved back to the 4/3 PM timeslot in the final months on air, so it's possible that they were trying to employ new techniques/elements to lure the teen demographic.   If that episode was around November/December 1973, I do wonder if the owners (AHS) were still trying to shop the show to other networks still.. or if they had accepted that the show was going to officially go off the air in Feb 1974 at the time of this episode airing.
