Thanks hooked! If GH ends in the next couple years, I hope Jane will reconsider leaving Hollywood. I'd love to see her pop up on Y&R, maybe as Phyllis' mother or Nikki's sister Casey.

That's a great interview, Hooked. Yeah, it's the same stuff as always, but this time around it sounded so upbeat and positive. She usually sounds very intelligent and pragmatic, but not upbeat.

I don't think I'd want her on another soap, though. I'd like to see more Prime Time appearances.

Well glad she is upbeat since she didn't work this whole week or isn't working monday and only worked once the week before the dark weeks for like five scenes

Even though she isn't paired with Luke at the moment, she apparently is still tied to any airtime when he is gone and Finola is gone for another week at least I think on vacation

Stinks she is in such a bubble she can't interact with other characters

Its looking like JI isn't coming back. So sad and the new regime seems to have no use at all for LC

Awe…. Tony, Bobbie and BJ into the Brownstone. I think that was my favourite set of all times.

EDIT

Saw the hallucinations with Luke from yesterday. Tracy and Anna are by far the best part of this. Love that even in his delirious state, Luke's sub-conscience knows Lulu sides with Tracy.

no tracy this week I do'nt think and jane only has two days left of taping that hasn't aired

She didn't work last week or this week so far

Guess it is business as usual for her on GH this summer---still tied to TG schedule and no story

Just makes it that much easier to do other things with my day. While I like a lot of what's happening on the show now better than I might have a year or two ago, there's still nothing to celebrate. Freeing Sam from Jason might be the one golden accomplishment of this team, and the jury is still out on that one. A few great scenes between the vets doesn't change anything.

So Tony said that he will be back to LA on July 22nd for two weeks. I thought the studio was dark one of those weeks but maybe not. He said he taped 11 shows in two days the week before the emmys. He said he will then go back to amsterdam for two weeks and then back and forth til they need him full time in Sept.

Hope that means JE will work again soon.

Oh I heard that AJ is heather's accomplice in this plan against jason/sam. He is alive obviously if this is true and wants to take away from Jason what jason/sonny took away from him etc. I also hear Alan is alive still but again, who really knows. Meanwhile instead of resurrecting dead Qs they coudl recast ned or dillon or brooklynn and bring a live one of Tracy's family bavck

Another Carrie episode. This one has her in therapy, which I'd never seen with her. This must be very close to her last episode. Her scenes start around 30 minutes in, maybe a little more.

Thanks for posting the new GL clips!

Went to NLG's event with Nex--always great to see her. The bad news was Jane was sick with bronchitis and didn't come. The good news was Robin Mattson was there and hilarious! Kelly Sullivan was really fun. Vanessa and sarah brown showed up too for a bit.

    • I could've sworn FV let other people direct either here or at OLTL. I may be wrong. IIRC Kimberly is now very active directing multi-cam/sitcom work.
    • IIRC MVJ said the million was just the first piece of what Leslie got or was already owed, something they did make explicit in dialogue but not too explicit. Still, I am past worrying about it. I do think they want 30-yo elder millennial Peaches in her Sophia Petrillo wig to be a point of pathos for Leslie. In theory I am fine with that, and don't dislike Peaches despite the jarring physical disconnect and need for a recast lol. But I do think they do a lot of B&B-style whizzing from Point A to Point C with Leslie on this kind of stuff - in one scene she is raising hell, in the next she is weeping over Peaches. There's very little transition to that sometimes that allows for the nuance, and that can be done much better and they can go much deeper with Leslie (and most characters). The newer/younger audience for the show may have less issue with this kind of quick change than we do.

Thank you. That was part of my reasoning as well. I think about the days of Kevin, Joey, and Jessica on OLTL or Lucky/Liz/Nik/Sarah/Emily on GH or the Last Blast Kids on DAYS or the Glow by Jabot kids, and it takes me back. Sure I started soaps due to the older cast with their divas, but I do like to see people around my age back then, too. Great memories. So I love a good relatable teen tale. Bullying. Hormones for the Bad Boy. College choices and internal conflict.
    • Thank you for the information. I did listen to the entire interview with Miss Roux -- way back when it was first released. But I am unable to recall her mentioning Connie Ford, and don't have time nor effort to listen to the entire thing again, just for one small morsel. So again, thanks for responding. I do recall Roux sounded extremely fragile and perhaps a bit wounded in the interview. I almost felt guilty for even listening to it. So perhaps that has some influence on my reluctance to listen to it again. She seemed troubled, to say the least.
    • Boxer-briefs, huh? Well...called it on Cane/Giggly Heffa hooking up so not surprised.
    • Do you have Addie’s first air date??
    • Even now Victor is always so warm with Ashley. I liked their brief re-pairing as well.
    • @depboy Thanks. That does help. @titan1978 @Paul Raven Really enjoying the analysis of the production methods and what Monty was doing. I wish we got some of those biopics here that a few UK soaps got as a biopic on Monty's first few years at GH would be fascinating.
    • The original 'mansion' was one of the set upgrades they did in 1980 . It was the Chandler residence. When that story fizzled out I think it became Stuart Whyland's house -not 100 on that. But it was revealed that Stuart was working for the Di Mera's (rewrite) so Stefano moved into that house. Mmmm...then it became Alex Marshall's? Neil and Liz lived there also. At some point it was finally replaced.
    • Thanks. I'm glad she got to as I know some producers tend to get mad if actors want to direct.
