Here's Daytime Confidential's take on todays scenes. I actually like how they saw it....

Lucky, Lulu and Ethan try to defend Luke to Tracy, but she’s not interested. She’s determined to make Luke pay for stealing her money. Lucky and Ethan still think that something else made Luke leave.

Lulu tries to convince Tracy to take Luke back, that she’s happy with the two of them together. Tracy brings up Dante and tells her not to compromise her principles for him.

Loved TraLu today! Just posted in someone's thread for them at SOC. Don't think there's anyone who doesn't love TraLu.

I guess Tracy will be showing up toward the middle of July since she's supposed to be the one (the only one, I think) who sees Helena with Elizabeth's baby. Then, there are the scenes with Brook that Adrienne Leon tweeted about. And Franco. So, looks like it's Random Tracy which is kind of cool.

Anyway, I'm so glad that the writers presented TraLu as a mother/daughter team regardless of the worm that is known as Luke. Seriously unhappy with him right now.

I hope she shows up at all. Doesn't seem like from what I'm seeing from SI or other insiders on dish that she is even at the hospital durng the lockdown.

SI said they had nothing on Tracy through the 23rd. Maybe just nothing worthy of spoilers but a few random scenes. August/sept are usually the months she is barely on an episode.

Hey hooked, I have a question for you. I joined cazigirl's site so I could download and edit clips, but last night when I was getting ready to publish yesterdays clips, my computer kept shutting down while I was in the middle of publishing. I wondered if you ever had that trouble since I have never had this problem before. Mind you it didn't just happen once, I tried for almost an hour and had no luck.

Prior insider stuff has at least three things she's part of, so we shall see. SI often has things on some characters but nothing on others who still show up throughout the time s/he's speaking of. August/September are her vacation months, so that's to be expected. Regardless though, the characters who do have story right now are a pretty good cross-section of the cast and there's still plenty for everyone.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th! Wow, I started posting this two days ago...but never hit post and went out of town! LOL

Hope you had a happy birthday Remos. Ms. Q--sorry you had a lousy 4th. Hope all is well now.

Here are the clips i edited from last week. I just saw that Nex posted them, but didn't get a chance to look at hers...I left all the luke scenes in with the kids since they were talking about Tracy. Not sure if anyone wanted those, but I know Funny likes luke.

The way they were

It's a tribute to Anthony Geary (Luke) and Jane Elliot (Tracy) that these powerhouse vets made being locked up in a dungeon for two weeks so heartwarming. They tugged at our heartstrings when they tenderly renewed their wedding vows--but when Luke slipped that their Vegas nuptials weren't valid, Tracy went beserk. Back at GH, she told him "You made a fool out of me, you broke my heart and I will never give you the opportunity to do that again." This was an effective way to write Geary out for his summer vacation, but we'll be counting the minutes until Luke and "Spanky" reconcile!

Okay, so a number of months back Hooked and someone else (sorry, can't remember who) said they were following WK to Days. I tried - I really did - but Justin was a big flop for me and nothing held my interest. I fell in love with Days right around the time I fell in love with GH, so I knew the history but it was a big fat zero for me.

Well - lately Maggie and Victor are sparking my interest just like Tracy and Luke did five years ago. What is it about Daytime who has boring couples for the most part, but the Surprise Seniors are FABULOUS???

Happy 4th. I am not having good luck with 4th's of July lately. Last year's and this year's SUCKED. :( At least 2008 was good.

remos, happy birthday. :)

Happy belated birthday to ILTQ and MinervaFan. I know you two have June birthdays. My birthday list is on my old computer, or else I'd have exact dates to share. LOL.

Thank Darling...... Cheesecake and Martinis for breakfast and a pretty lazy day aside from that. All around there's not complaints here. :D Hope all of you enjoyed your holiday.

BTW, Star is tweeting this evening and I "borrowed" this picture....

It was me for sure. I really like DOOL. I started watching last summer when Wally showed up. I agree Wally has had no story and really nothing at all. Justin is boring. And Adrienne is boring too. However, I think Victor/Vivian was hilarious...their wedding recently was one of the best episodes I have seen in a long time with the wit of the writing and all the ex-wives having flashbacks and getting in the picture! I like the Kate character (I always seem to go for the same type of Tracy-like soap character) and Stephano and I even like Sami who is an airhog and Nicole. I think EJ is HOT!

I can do without the chloe/daniel stuff. Or the stephanie/nathan stuff...they are like watching paint dry, but in general I like that on DOOL you can pretty much count on seeing something you like each episode. They use their vet characters way more. And for someone who has no idea of the days history except for all the storyline with JE when seh was playing anjelica, I really like watching the show. It is nice to watch and not really be caring about a couple, etc.

I am back watching OLTL now that David Vickers is back. I love Tuc Watkins...he cracks me up and I really love david/dorian. The rest of that show is terrible in my opinion. Too many young characters and teens.

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
    • https://www.tvinsider.com/1180503/denise-alexander-dead-general-hospital-lesley-webber/ Alexander made her soap opera debut as Lois Adams on The Clear Horizon in 1960, but her big break came in 1966 when she was cast as Susan Hunter Martin on Days of Our Lives while still attending college at UCLA. As Susan, Alexander played a host of dramatic tales, including murdering her husband David Martin (played by Clive Clerk) in May 1967 after the death of their son. “She started out as the bad girl and was thrown out of boarding school for smoking and drinking,” recalled Alexander to We Love Soaps TV. “The character caught on and sparked something with the audience, and that is how Susan became an important part of the show. I was there for almost seven years…. I had such a wonderful time on Days. It was like going to camp every day for me. I loved the people, loved the show, and loved what I got to do. They loved the character and liked me as an actor and gave me lots of neat stuff to do. I didn’t even ask for a vacation for five years because if I worked 365 days a year, I thought I was great. It was a very good time in my life.” In 1973, Alexander was in contract negotiations with Days when ABC offered significant perks to the actress to join General Hospital to play Dr. Lesley Williams. Though Alexander loved her time in Salem, she decided to leave. “It was [Days’ Executive Producer] Betty Corday who sent me to General Hospital,” Alexander told welovesoaps.net. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to General Hospital..."
